Hayes
© to whoever owns it - aka NOT me :P
The wolf himself is rather tall, and lean. He's got muscle, but not massive amounts. Instead, his legs are long and his build a little on the leaner side. His coat is thick and shaggy, doing him no good in the summer so he usually sticks around where there's a cooler climate. He's all brown, and his coat varys in shades and patterns.
His underbelly and the majority of his back paws are a very soft brown, the lightest that he is. His front paws, around his eyes, and inner-ears match this shade. His sides, chest, and underneath his jaw are a darker shade of brown, darker than the tan color that his underbelly is but still very light. As if someone used a sharpie and drew lines, there are the darkest brown lines separating all the colors from each other. On his back and the top of his head, the brown is darkest except for the lines. His tail goes from white, to the darkest brown, to medium brown, and then the darker brown.
Hayes' eyes are clearly the most noticable feature. They're big and wide and always open, it seems. The color is a very dark, melty brown almost, his eyelashes are thick and he has lines under his eyes that look nearly like eyeliner. The eyes themselves are very feminine, but that's the only feminine thing about him.
History:
Hayes grew up in a big pack, around friendly wolves, with a small but close family. This was nice, because he learned to hunt and was always told to live up his life as best as possible, but then he realized as a young wolf that wasn't happening. Hayes was living a very consistent life. Nothing interesting really ever happened, and although he could have fancied that up with the females eyes that always followed him, Hayes chose instead to take a more wild direction.
When he announced to his pack that he was leaving, there weren't many gasps of surprise. Hayes had always been the pup to wander off or the wolf to go look for trouble. He was the one running back to the pack being chased by an angry family of bears or hornets. It was to no surprise that Hayes was choosing to live his own life. There were, however, three females that wanted to go with him. His best friend, and two females who'd always shown interest in him (they weren't alone, mind you, there were others). Hayes chose to allow his best friend, Latti, to come with him. The others were left behind.
So, at age one, he said his goodbyes to his family and friends, and he and Latti took off to make a life... well, not together, but around each other. This is what Hayes thought, anyway.
It was a clear, starry night while Hayes and Latti were settling under a tree to go to sleep that she informed him how she felt. She told him that she had a crush on him, she had since they were pups, and she didn't know how to tell him. Well, even though she'd got up the courage to tell him, Hayes still felt weird about his best friend liking him. He'd told her that it was okay, but he was just a little creeped out and didn't feel the same way. That night, Hayes didn't sleep.
He layed and thought about how her having those feelings could restrict his life-style in a few ways. He didn't want to feel guilty about sharing with her the feelings he felt for other females. So, he decided that he would just tell her goodbye. In the morning, he'd leave her. To keep from hurting her feelings, though, was the real problem. He decided there would be no other way to do it but bluntly.
"Latti," he'd said when she woke up, "I think I want to continue on alone. Not because of anything you told me, but just because I think I'm realizing I'd be better off alone. You'll always be my best friend though, and I hope we see each other again someday." That part wasn't a lie, he did love Latti dearly... just, like a sister. With a lick on the cheek, he turned and ran. He didn't want to stick around to see her cry or yell or do any type of protest. He just wanted to get away before things would become difficult.
So, Hayes has lived alone ever since. He's met a few females that he's had an affairs with, but never anything serious. Every now and then he'll pick up a wolf or two to stray with him for a while, but never for longer than a few months. That's his limit.
Family:
Maleek Kochac - Father ( deceased )
Saren Kochac - Mother
Aromn Kochac - Brother - 6 years
Lache Kochac - Sister - 2 years
Personality:
Hayes really isn't that hard to figure out. He's smart, unpredictable, uncontrollable, adventurous, and a natural leader, it seems. He often thinks before he speaks, but he doesn't take the same time to figure out his actions. They say there's a difference between 'smart' and 'wise,' right? Well, Hayes has yet to reach the latter. He's got all the smarts, but he's still young and he's certainly far from wise. He's rarely serious, but knows when it's time to get down to business. Even so, he'll usually keep the tone light and joking. This pisses some off, so he gets in fights. Hayes doesn't back down, either, he never turns away a fight. He figures that when it's his time, it's his time.
Hayes doesn't let anyone tell him what to do, and he'll do probably the opposite of what you're thinking he'll do every single time. Hayes doesn't make much sense and even those closest to him have a lot to yearn about the wolf. He hasn't even quite figured himself out yet. If something comes to mind and sounds like fun, you best believe he's going to try it, just to see what happens. Hayes just kind of... goes with the flow, you know?
Hayes has a way of grabbing others' attention. He can talk and then be the center of attention within minutes. Hayes sort of has this natural leader about him that others are attracted to. He'd never want to lead a pack, though, never in his life. He'd make too many wrong choices, but if it's up to him to keep some youngsters safe or others in general out of danger, Hayes knows how to do it. Others look up to him, and he'll never understand why, because he's not a very wise animal to be honest. He's just waiting for the day that he really gets into trouble.
Likes:
Adventures, running, hunting, story-telling, thinking, moonlight, adrenaline, fighting, girls, and making music.
Dislikes:
Being tied down, sleeping, being hunted for, lame stories, stupid wolves, very bright light, being bored, real hate, being controlled, and too much noise.
Powers:
Sight Hayes can see into the future. It's a good thing on his part, because thanks to his power he's avoided many near-death experiences. He can only see into others' futures though, not his own, so unless there's someone else with him when he's adventuring into the unknown, he won't know what's coming for him until it's too late, and that's when things get difficult. Hayes doesn't over-use his power and claims that he can't do it at will unless he's gotten to know and appreciate the wolf that he's around. It's not hard to do, because Hayes is open enough, but still.
Weaknesses:
curiousity They say that curiousity kills the cat; in this case, however, it's the wolf. Hayes has a thing for adventure and adventuring is his favorite pass-time. He doesn't listen to anyone elses' word of caution, he has to do things his way, on his own time. Don't get me wrong, it can sometimes be good, but he won't listen to anyone until he finds out for himself that something is bad. No one else can reason with him, so this curious mind will probably be the end of poor Hayes.
