The sound of each of her movements was beginning to bother her. After failing her attempt to catch a salmon, the she-wolf had fallen victim to her own mistake. The consequence- falling in the river. It wasn't much of a problem for Carcal though. She loved the feeling of having the water cool her body down from the hot weather. Summer did have that effect on a hybrid with such a thick pelt. Then again her fur had saved herself from freezing to death in the winter.
While swimming back to the shoreline, every movement she made within the watery depths seem to give off it's own little wave and sound effect. 'I wonder if I'm scaring any of the fish off. Great. I was looking so forward to having one.' The last time she had bit into a delectable piece of marine wildlife was at least a season ago. Looking over to the other side of the river, she noticed two wolves who had already caught their fill of the scaly meals. Why couldn't she do that? They had to tease her so.
Shrugging it off, Carcal stepped onto the river's solid, dry bank before giving herself a good shake. She could hear the water flinging off of her. Though she was now successfully drenched, the heat was much more bearable. Maybe falling in had been a blessing instead of a curse.

{{ You can find her profile Here :3 }}
Alyssa watched the female from a far, staying away from the rushing waters of Lhanda. She turned her head away from the female, and began to walk away. She wasn’t one to freely communicate with other wolves, after all she was different from others. She took a deep breath closing her eyes, who would want to hang around her in the first place? She was a traitor to the wolf species and she wasn’t even supposed to be upon this earth. After all she was a clone, made by human’s hands and not from the caring mother nature. She had no family and she had no friends, well unless you counted Artemis her child. Although only she could speak to it, and it could never talk back, but somehow she could feel him inside of her and it was like he was talking to her sometimes. She shifted her weight, her golden fur shinning brightly in the sunlight. Her blue eyes were emotionless, it wasn’t that she didn’t have emotions, it’s just that she wasn’t quite sure how to express them. She twisted her head and looked back toward the female.
You want me to help her, don’t you, Artemis? She thought to herself. She could feel her Child – who was a robot looking dragon that came out only when she called onto him – tugging on her to go back to the helpless female who had failed at catching a fish. After several minutes, feeling defeated, she gave in. Very well, but I’m only doing this because you told me too, not because I want too. She said to him, but she and he knew very well her words were not right. She made her way into the river a couple of feet from eye sight of the young female. She was lucky her caretaker had taught her how to hunt, otherwise she would have been dead by now. Even though she should already be, because she was not fit for society, but for some reason she didn’t want to die. She wanted to live. She wandered if that was weird.
She took a few steps into the water, making sure not to disturb the water or the fish. She pinned her ears back against her head, feeling her black ribbon rub against her fur. She remained perfectly still until the fish had forgotten that she was there. She was lucky that fishes had small brains, otherwise it would be difficult for even the best of fisherman to capture them. Soon a fish began to make its way toward her feet and with one dive of her jaws she captured the fish in her jaws. She held it tight so it wouldn’t get loose. She then padded toward the young female and dropped the fish at her feet.
“You’ll get it, you just need practice.” She said in a little emotion voice as she blankly stared at the female.

Soon the ends of Carcal's mouth hooked upward in a sheepish grin before shaking herself in another attempt to dry herself. She was enjoying this. This freedom. Sure, she no longer traveled with her father, but there was a pack here and with it came a new hope for her future. There weren't any limitations on where she could go or what she could do...Well at least as far as she knew there wasn't.
Upon the sapphire sky, the sun seemed to roll as it hung high in the sky. It's heat seemed to bathe the land of Nozomi. Not exactly a clear day, small, grey cloud puffs lingered as if to make the day more dreary. Carcal couldn't help, but find those few clouds slightly annoying. Today would have been best without them there or with them there and producing droplets. Rain was never a bad thing- and it definitely attracted fish. The land's weather had an effect on everything in it. That was another reason was balance was so important. Well, there was that reason and the fact that if Carcal went around magically changing the weather constantly Mother Nature might get pissed off at her.
Not paying much attention to her now frizzy fur, the she-wolf didn't to go all-natural with the whole 'fresh out of the bath' look or whatever she would decide to call it. Narrowing her sapphire blues, Carcal attempted to focus. She would catch her prey. This was something she could handle! One of the first tests of her living on her own! It was during her intense moment of focus that she took note of the other wolf in her presence. This other wolf had golden pelt that was shining beautifully in the sunlight with blue eyes that seemed to just pop. Wait a minute...Carcal kind of looked like her! At least, in Carcal's world they did. She really needed to avoid comparing others to herself...
Focusing her attention on this she-wolf, Carcal watched closely as Alyssa slowly approached the water. That had most likely been where Carcal had made her first mistake. Leaping into water equals a bad idea to begin with. Then again she had fallen in, but she had attempted to leap at the fish so technically she had leaped headfirst into something she was prepared for. Great. Now she was rambling again.
After finishing her own mental quarrel with herself, the young wolf noticed that this fisher was headed her way- with a fish in tow of course. Carcal could feel her ears burn red with embarrassment. She must have saw her horrible attempt to catch something to eat. Taking note to scold herself later, she smiled at Alyssa. "Th-thank you." She stuttered thanks to her nerves. "I'm hoping I'll get better with a few more tries." Why did this femme sound so down? Was a little heart too much to ask for nowadays? Then again Carcal wasn't in a position to complain.
Bending her head downward to the ground, she sniffed at the fish in front of her. It was a salmon and boy did it smell good. Licking her lips, she immediately sunk her teeth down and into the fish's flesh. The flavor felt notably exotic due to the rare occurence of her own marine meals. Fishing? Not exactly something that the young she-wolf is used to. That and she had ran away before her father could teach her really...

Alyssa remained silent and turned her body almost as if she was about to turn around. She did not see the point of staying anymore. After all now she had a lunch. The female’s words reached her ears causing her ears to perk. "Hmm, well isn’t that nice?” She said in the same voice she had used earlier. She wasn’t trying to seem like she had an attitude, she doesn’t, and it’s just the way she talked to everyone, even Artemis. She was beginning to think the humans had made her to where she couldn’t show emotions, she really didn’t care. She hated humans with a burning passion. They had made something that shouldn’t have been done, for they played with mother nature, and nothing ever turned out right for people who did that. It didn’t. because Alyssa destroyed them, in the end she got them back. You couldn’t tell, though. On the outside she was like any normal wolf, but she still believed her to be a fake, in every way.
“I had to practice too, when I was first living on my own.” Alyssa said after she walked a few paces away from the female, paused, turned around and spoke to her. It was true, although Miyu had taught her how to fish, it was different when you had no one to correct you when you messed up. Many nights Alyssa went hungry. She was not perfect now, she still messed up quite a bit, but she was getting better at being a real wolf. Even though she didn’t know why she even bothered, for she soon would expire and be free from this world. She wandered how that would be like, dying. She could feel a tug in her heart and she frowned slightly.
Artemis, stop that. She said angrily to her Child who was forcing her to stop thinking that way. She pinned her ears back upon her head, though she knew he was right. There was no point in thinking about that. She cleared her throat, but she spoke none. She just stood there, looking at the female. It was then did she notice that she was younger then Alyssa, not by much though. Alyssa had just turned three years old a few months ago, but she acted much older then her age. This female looked to be shy of two years old.

Carcal
"Very." The foolish she-wolf answered the retorical comment as if starving for some kind of actual response. Ears pricked slightly [though one of the them could only prick forward so much since the top of it flopped over], Carcal watched as it seemed the she-wolf that was with her would now disappear. A shiver ran down her spine at how easily it seemed for Alyssa to simply leave after providing food for another wolf. No proper greeting or anything. Heck, she didn't give a name and young Carcal's interest was already taken over.
Rushing her next bite, Carcal picked up what remained of the appetizer and walked over to the golden female. To Carcal, this wolf seem shrouded in mystery. No emotion was in her voice, yet she had only done nice things and spoken kind words to the young she-wolf. Carcal's desire to stay with she-wolf was fueled by her curiousity. Surely something so emtionless must have many stories to tell? And if so, she wanted to listen.
"My name's Carcal. What's yours?" The lively she-wolf's tail was wagging at a lesisurely pace behind her. Maybe it was her youth that made her seem less and less like the other wolves here. It possibly made her vunlerable to the other many elements of the world, but it protected herself. Thanks to her immaturity, Carcal remained happy. She remained alive and filled with joy. Something that would have been stripped from her if she had remained at her father's side. After breaking his heart, who was she to force herself and hisself to enfure the emotional struggle. It had been her fault that her brother left them. If only she had kept her trap shut. Then she would most likely be out hunting with her father and brother. The two wolves that made up her world.
Holding whatever remained of the fish in her jaws, Carcal padded over alongside the mystery known as the black-ribboned fisher. "Why do you live alone?" It seemed like an innocent question. It's not like the wolf had a dark of a past that was forbidden to be talked about. This was simply a question that was a failed attempt at makingg small talk. For some reason, there was a pit in the wolf's belly that thought she may have asked the wrong question.

Alyssa watched as the female introduced herself. Alyssa turned her head away for a moment. Why did he want her to stay and speak to the female? Why did she need companionship? She was not lonely, or was she? She wasn’t sure how it felt. She supposed it is not a good feeling, whatever it was. Then again even if she did get close to a wolf, they would just turn around and run once they find out her true identity. There was no doubt in her mind about that. She was a freak. No, she was worst then that. She was someone that didn’t belong. Here was a normal female who had a mother and father and possibly even siblings and Alyssa was created in a lab filled with idiotic humans who created Alyssa for one purpose – and after that purpose was completed they would have killed her, if she didn’t kill them before that. Just remembering it caused a frown to come over her maw. She didn’t know much about love, or liking someone, but she knew much or rage and hatred and she hated those humans with a burning passion and she would do it all again if she had too. There was only one who she really cared for…
Alyssa shook her head when the female had spoken her name and asked for hers. “My name?” She repeated the question. She took a few seconds before she answered, almost as if she had to think about it. “I was born with the name Alyssa Seers, although I was never called it.” She snorted. Actually her named was a number. Subject 340, she wasn’t even good enough for a name. It was only when Miyu became her caretaker did she get her name. The only one who actually cared for her. The one who taught her how to be a normal wolf, the one who had sacrificed herself to make sure Alyssa was safe and free. If it wasn’t for Miyu, Alyssa would have been dead long ago.
“I’m alone because…” She wasn’t quite sure how to answer this and a perplex look came over her features. She thought how she should explain it to her, without her asking too many questions. However the young female did to seem to be quite curious and could ask questions even if Alyssa just said “because” or “I’m old enough” or some lame answer like that. “Well because the ones who I used to live with died, so I left.” The answer was very vague, she knew. She made sure to say ‘ones’ instead of humans, but she didn’t want to outright lie and say wolves. She also said ‘died’ easily on the tongue, trying not to fill her words with hatred. For it was the truth, she did not lie, she just did not explicate on what her words meant. She turned her head away from Carcal. “That is why I’m alone.” She muttered with a shrug of her shoulders. A far off look now lingered in her eyes, as she tried not to remember those forbidden memories, which were locked away in her heart and mind.

ηɪҚɪтɑ & тɪʟʟч
Energy crackled across his body, that of life surrounding him. Birds chirped out their cheerful little songs, squirrels chattered and scurried across the tree branches overhead. The energy grew in strength as a living creature grew closer to where he sat, and weaker as they wandered further away. The static that made his fur rise also followed movements. A chipmunk that stood to his right, scurried over to his left, and the static followed. Had he any reason to fight, and wasn't cursed with this transparent form, this little power would be very useful. But the only one he could fight, was his sister. And why would he need to fight his sister? Sure, she was an annoying little brat, with the attention span of a fly, but fighting her would upset any sort of balance in the world. And with what they were, upsetting the balance would be absolutely catastrophic.
The strange transparent wolf rose from where he sat in the grass, ears high and alert, before he was sent tumbling forward and through a tree. The chains that ran along his figure rattled, emitting a metallic ting before settling as he did. "Tilly!" He boomed, lips curled back in a vicious snarl, his body trembling for a moment before he kicked his sister off and jumped to a standing position. "There are others nearby, brother!" She chirped, tail thrashing back and forth happily. "Let us go greet them. It'll surely take your mind off of the forest fire of two nights ago." "You know such events take me longer than two days to recover from," Nikita growled and shook himself off, resulting in another series of metallic tings.
The slender black female tilted her head to the left, giving him a curious look through her odd white eyes. "Why is it that you take so much longer to recover?" "Because such events result in a large amount of energy being torn from me. You on the other hand, are much more energetic, because you're receiving that energy. Why is it that you haven't understood this? It's very simple. You got the good end of the deal that mother made." Taken aback, Tilly stared at him for a few long seconds, before bouncing away a few yards.
"Come, Nikita, I assure you that this should be at least somewhat amusing for you." She nudged him in the side with her rump before her tongue lolled out of the side of her mouth and bounced forward again. "They're two females, too. One's a total grouch like you are, so you should surely hit it off well."
Seeing that it would be very unlikely that he would get out of this, Nikita shook himself off once again and followed after his obnoxiously energetic sister.
Soon enough, they found the two females. Traveling through anything that stood in their way provided a much quicker method of travel, as if they were walking through an open plain. However, the joys of such simple things like the feeling of wind, could not grace the lives of these two. It was a rather melancholy existence, not being able to do anything a normal wolf could, from hunting to starting a family. Some, would crave this life, that without any real worries, but it tended to grow boring very quickly.
Staying a distance away from the two--at least Nikita--, he watched the two females, but didn't seem to be keeping an eye on his sister. So he didn't notice as she bounded forwards toward them. Grinning like an idiot, she made an unnecessary leap through a bush and landed just a few feet away from the two.
"Hello!"

Carcal
Carcal blinked up innocently at the older she-wolf. Her blue eyes shined with a certain curiosity that made them want to know more- but not just about Alyssa. About Nozomi. About everything. To her the world was her playground with challenges that she would conquer and in exchange she would learn of the world's secrets. Like a vault stored away somewhere high up on a mountain top with the keys to life and death awaiting her arrival.
The fish bones still dangling from her unscathed jaws. A smile managed to stay upon her gentle face. A solid white color made up the majority of her pelt except for her back and the top of her head. That was a beautiful beige shade. It appeared as though angels from above as scattered dust upon her and left her with a halo of future promises. For once, her tail had stopped floping around- though it was still moving at a steady, slow pace. Cheerfulness and joy seemed to be expressed most through her own facial and movement gestures. Something that Alyssa seemed to be lacking at this exact moment.
Alyssa. What a beautiful name for a beautiful she-wolf to have. The older she-wolf was coated in the startling hue of gold. It was as though the sun had came down upon earth and rained down it's warm rays of light on her alone. Making Alyssa alone the beacon of it's light even when the moon was up instead. Opening her mouth to comment, Carcal dropped what remained of the fish.
"Oops." Backing up slightly, she craned her neck downward to pick up the morsel unlike something leapt towards them. Quite surprised, the young she-wolf stumbled over onto her side. "Oof." Practically jumping to her paws when she noticed the other wolf. Carcal was worried that it might have had the intention of attacking them, but after looking this new wolf over she realized that no foul intention plagued her- as far as she could tell at least. Blinking [She seemed to be doing a lot of this nowadays.] with slight confusion, she shook herself playfully before smiling awkwardly.
"Hi ya!" Immediately perking up. For once, she was beginning to feel comfortable. She had no idea who this black wolf was, but damn did she have good vibes- or did Carcal just want her to have good vibes? All well. She'd question her judgement later. Failing to even notice Tilly's brother off in the distance, Carcal's attention was now divided between the sun's daughter and the mistress of the shadows. Who would she choose between?

Alyssa eyed the wolf mysteriously wolfess for a while. She sure was full of energy – much different then herself. This wolfess had no problem showing her expressions, and seemed to ignorant on how the world really was – or perhaps she knew, but denied it. Perhaps she wanted to keep the naiveness, because facing the truth would be harder for her? Alyssa didn’t know and she didn’t ask. Alyssa knew the hardships of the world right from the beginning and she had learned it the hard way. She was forced to fight when she was younger, forced to shed blood and betray others that were her own species (except they were real and she was a fraud) Alyssa sat down upon the ground, wrapping her fluffy tail around herself. She felt her black ribbon died up in her fur rub against her fur, but she took no notice of it. The ribbon had been a birthday present from Miyu. Alyssa thought back to her last conversation with Miyu. Miyu and Alyssa could understand each other (because they made her that way) She remembered the building behind them being destroyed as Artemis rose into the sky blazing like a phoenix against the night sky.
“Alyssa, there is something I have to tell you.” She could hear Miyu’s warm words as she wrapped her arms around the small wolf. “I’m just like you. Me and you are the same. You see…I’m not a human either…I was created by man.” At first Alyssa didn’t understand. She knew Miyu was different from the others, but she couldn’t comprehend what Miyu was telling her. Miyu was actually not even human at all. She was a robot, she was a fake as well, but she told Alyssa something else. She holds these words with her in her heart, forever. “Alyssa, you are real. You might be a clone, but to me, you are so much more…” with that she told Alyssa to leave and she stopped the others from getting Alyssa as she ran away.
Alyssa shook her head bringing her mind back to reality. It was then when she noticed there was another hyper female (oh great just what she needed) and spotted a male in the far back. Alyssa shifted her weight. She did not do well with males, the only one she talked to was Artemis and he wasn’t even a wolf. She did not say hello to the new wolf, instead she stood and looked at them with a blank expression. She really didn’t care that these wolves were hyper – she just wasn’t sure how to react to them. A frown flickered across her maw, she was not sure what she should say or do. She wandered how long she had to stay here, but she knew if she tried to leave Artemis would pull her right back here. For some reason she knew he wanted her to get some wolf friends, some of her same species, saying she needed companionship of some sort. She sighed, she didn’t believe in it. They would hate her. She knew it. Right when they learned of her dark past – they would either tell her to get lost or try to kill her.
She just wandered when they would learn the truth. Wasn’t it obvious already that she wasn’t like other wolves?

ηɪҚɪтɑ & тɪʟʟч
Quickly losing interest in the golden female, Tilly bounded over to the more friendly one. Tail thrashing back and forth even faster, her haunting white eyes examined the female that looked rather similar to her brother. The dull metal spikes that lined her slender figure shone in the light, as did her eyes. Next to the light that Nikita seemed to give off, though, it was rather faint. Turning her attention to her brother, she tried to get him to approach with a mere bob of the head.
"Come now! Do not act like such a coward," she teased, grinning like even more of a fool. "They're not going to bite!"
Reluctance was clear on his face. What good came of making conversation? It was not like a lasting friendship could be made. That only came from others of their kind--the Sentinels. And even then, they too were quite preoccupied with their work and found being social, difficult. Besides, they were too...mature of a bunch anyway. They couldn't provide any entertainment for Tilly, nor any useful conversation for Nikita. However, it was always possible that these two would be at least somewhat amusing.
Nikita found himself--yet again-- in a situation that he couldn't just get out of. Might as well do what your sister wants, or else you would never hear the end of it. Complaints were commonplace for the female now that she knew it would get her what she wanted, and they were starting to wear on Nikita's patience. The shocking white, faintly glowing, male finally rose from where he was seated. Moving forward through a tree, then a berry bush, he took a position just a few feet away from his sister. Chains jingling softly with every step, the noise stopped as he did.
Satisfied that she got him to do what she wanted, Tilly looked back at Carcal. "I am Tilly," she said, before shooting her brother a rather fierce glance. He perked up an ear, and let out a sigh. "And I am Nikita." He added.
"By any chance do you know where we are? I fear we do not, nd have gotten lost." Tilly asked and gave Carcal a little tilt of the head before forcing herself to calm down enough to sit down. In the background, Nikita's fur bristled. "We aren't lost, Tilly," he growled,"you're just too much of a twit to remember this place."

Carcal
Did she really want to lead herself down this path? A path away from the sanctity of her family's protection and towards a new pack. The pack of Nozomi. Surely the gods would watch over this pack and keep their gaze upon the young she-wolf, who had been dipped in angel dust. What were some of the gods and goddesses of Nozomi anyway? Gah. Something else that would ponder the mind of the cheerful wolfess for some time. Then again she could just ask.
Standing up straighter, Carcal took note of the large male heading in her direction. Apparently he was the black she-wolf's kin. A brother. Something that Carcal had once had. Once had being the keyword. If only she hadn't been such a fool back then. If only she had bitten down on her tongue to keep herself from shouting out the truth. Then she wouldn't be here right now. No. She would be among her father and half-brother. Her fairytale ending was with them, but it had been taken from her. Along with the ones she loved most.
Parting was such sweet sorrow. Leaving them behind had been only just the beginning for her. Carcal's story would begin once more and this was just the first chapter. The first of many to come. Lost to a world that writes her own story with or without her permission. A dream that required her to let go. Let go of the past- but who was she to let go? The past determined everything. Who we are, what we are, and where we are. Without the past, we are beasts.
Raising her eyebrows as she examined the two new siblings closer. Not exactly what she had expected. Nikita was solid white with black eyes that seemed to be carved from a pitch black sky. That and those chains. The way they clinked frightened her. Everytime he shifted, she knew. Knew where he was, but she had no idea what or who he was aside from his name. Nikita. Surely the devil had a name of such similarity. Hades would become jealous as the shiver ran down Carcal's spine. Caused only by a simple sound.
As for Tilly...well Carcal already had a certain pechant for her for no real reason. The wolf seemed to be young and youthful like herself. It may her feel like she was among someone her age. This fabrication of what she believed of the world around her kept her smiling. Kept her living. A life sugarcoated with lies was still a life, though it would be doomed to end in a horrid bittersweet way that only a god could predict.
This was stupid and silly. Giving herself another good shake, Carcal realized that her pelt was still damp. Damp from her fall into the depths of the river. The river of fish. The river of her first true memory of Nozomi. Of her new self.
"Oh. I'm Carcal!" She replied quickly and the twinkle in her eyes returned along with the innocence and mischief. Carcal's greeting was soon followed by a playful howl before she turned around to look at Alyssa. Her tail was wagging a mile a minunte like it had done only minutes earlier. "And...um....this is the Lahada river." Speaking slightly fast, it would cover up her mistake if she had spoke it wrong. After stiffling her own giggles from the sibling bickery, Carcal focused her mind back to the golden she-wolf who had aided her earlier. "Are you okay Aly?"
Aly. Short for Alyssa. A pet name, nick-name, etc? No matter what it was called, it was considered a term of endearment usually used or came up with by close friends or companions. Was that what foolish Carcal considered this mysterious golden she-wolf who had revealed as little as a name to her? They do say that gifts come in many shapes and sizes- but so do regrets.

Alyssa turned her head toward the new female who was now asking about the land. Alyssa could not answer her, for she had no answer. She had only lived in Nozomi for a short while, but she was not part of the pack and had spoken to none, except for now. She had remained by herself, wandering around, wondering why she had not moved on. For some reason she was pulled into this land. It was comforting and peaceful it made her bad memories disappear enough to where she could relax. For a while, for the past year she had been on her own, she had wandered around never staying in the same place for too long. For whenever she seemed to settle down, something stirred her memories, causing her to leave once again. She didn’t believe she would ever find peace for a moment’s length, but here it was different. She wandered why. Her ears perked when she heard Carcal answer for her she just nodded her head, although she wasn’t sure why. Alyssa shifted her weight, feeling as if she did not belong into this conversation.
Aly? Alyssa cocked her head at the word. She wasn’t quite sure why Carcal had called her that. She never had a nickname before. Miyu had always called her Alyssa and everyone else called her it, as if she didn’t even deserve to have a gender. She frowned slightly, not sure how to react to the nickname that Carcal had given to her. “I’m okay…I was just thinking…that’s all.” She said as she looked from Carcal to the other two wolves, which she did not know their names. She turned her head away from them, not sure what else to say. She twisted her head and looked up at the deep blue sky. The sun was shining brightly filling the land with a bright light. She squinted her eyes as she turned to look back at the other wolves. She wandered if more would be coming. She didn’t like to be crowded – she felt like an outsider. An outsider who did not belong. Here were three wolves that all had several things in common when she had little to none.
“Just thinking about how different you guys are from me.” The words slipped from her maw before she could catch them. Why did she say that? Her eyes grew wide and she quickly turned away from them. She wasn’t one to slip up like that, perhaps she was feeling so relaxed, and perhaps because she felt like someone actually cared? She turned to look at Carcal, who had been nothing but kind, but that’s because she didn’t know the truth. Alyssa frowned as she stared at them, unsure what was going to happen. Why? Why did she have to say that, now they’re going to know, her big secret. It was a matter of minutes before they realize it and then leave.

Tilly turned her glowing white eyes towards the sky, before taking a seat and scratching at her back. Claws raking across the dull metal spikes that lay attached to her skin, she shook herself off then turned to face "Aly". The energy she had just moments ago seemed to fade in an instant, her almost constantly bristled fur settling. Her haunting eyes seemed to stare through the golden female, as if trying to rip apart the meaning of the females very existence. However, she didn't speak--for once in her life.
Nikita faced the female as well and gave her a curious little tilt of the head. Licking his nose, his mouth was only able to do such an action, and communicate. The ring around his snout was of course annoying, but had he been living, he would have starved long ago. The restriction of movement was unnecessary, but made him look all the more mysterious.
"Different, my dear?" He rumbled, "from us? Highly unlikely." Adding just the slightest laugh to merely show the good nature in his comment, a bird with some interesting timing seemed to flutter right through him and land right below him. His transparent form shuddered slightly for a moment, but that was all. He didn't feel the bird pass through him, not one bit. His form did that involuntarily.
"Agreed, highly, highly unlikely. But one is entitled to their own opinion." Tilly chirped, though her tone took more of a malicious turn. Sure, it wasn't addressed to Alyssa, just a bit of her true nature that was hidden by her mask of energy.
Deciding to change the subject, Nikita looked away from the two females. "Lahada river?" He asked. "Never heard of it. Maybe you were right, sister. I do believe we're lost."

Alyssa turned her head toward the two of them who spoke stating that they were indeed not different from her. Alyssa did not respond, instead she turned away. She had met others who were different then an average wolf – but no matter what Alyssa stubbornly declared she was different. Unless she met another clone like herself. The wolves she had betrayed were different, but they were not created, they were not designed to kill, they were not like her. Alyssa was a fake. She wasn’t sure why she said it, and she really didn’t want to push the subject further, but it burned on her tongue like hot iron. She shifted her weight trying not to say anything. Even if she wasn’t a clone, even if she was born like the others did, then she still would be different. Artemis made her different, but he was the one thing he would trade up. He was a quiet friend who would always be with her, because she needed him, more then he probably understood – or perhaps he did.
“You are,” Alyssa suddenly blurt out, but her voice was no higher then a whisper, “no matter what – everyone is different from me.” She mumbled under her breath that she was not sure if they heard – and she didn’t care. She wasn’t sure why she was so stubborn to the fact that she wasn’t normal. She didn’t want to accept the fact that there were many were different and that perhaps someone would accept her. She didn’t know why. She just had to stay different. She just had too.
