Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
The morning felt good against her pelt as she broke free from the darkness and entered into the world of daylight. Although it was in the middle of the autumn season the stunning sun caused the temperature to feel moderately warm. She tilted her head upward taking in everything. The meadow was sure beautiful during the fall seasons, colored leaves drifted over from the forest and now scattered across the land, causing the sun to reflect upon the vivacious colors. The female stretched her rather long body as she progressively made her way through the valley, her long slender tail swinging behind her imprecisely. Her large light blue eyes reflecting the bright light from the sun
She is not your average wolf. Her abnormal looks are both intriguing and odd. She was tall, much taller then most females and even taller then quite a few males. She gets this height mainly because of her super long legs, and her slim slick body. She weighed exactly a hundred pounds, something that would be quite unhealthy for others, but she did not look ill at all, nor could you see her ribs poking out from her thin fur. Her tail is long, almost as long as her body in length, a light blue ribbon wraps itself around it, flowing behind her. Not only did her tallness and long slender tail made her look odd, she had two antennas sticking up from her head, which caused her to have extreme sensitivity to weather and senses.
She was one of the rare species of wolves that roam the world – Yuurie-Dao wolves, whom are born from magic. Her name is Annika Fallenstar
I'm so tired of being here Suppressed by all of my childish fears And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave 'Cause your presence still lingers here And it won't leave me alone
Annika closed her eyes, turning her gaze away from the blazing glare of the sun. Thoughts of the past six hundred years rushed through her mind. She mainly had wonderful memories, of course three hundreds of those years were training to become a master, which is a title she finally got to own. Yet the taunting memories of the past couple hundred years were burned within her mind, tearing her apart, but she showed no sign of it. Annika still held a smile upon her maw, even though inside she was tearing up. That’s just the kind of wolf she was. She had to remain content, because her main job was to help others. She couldn’t do that being gloomy. However, the haunting memories of what she went through with Kyros rung through her mind. Even today, he haunted her, as if his ghost was lingering in her mind, not leaving her alone. Annika let out a small yawn, shaking her head, trying to push the negative thoughts aside. Stay happy, Annika, it was in the past. Today is a glorious day! She thought to herself.
These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears I held your hand through all of these years But you still have All of me
Kyros, you broke my heart. I gave you everything. You were my all and all and in the end you betrayed me. Broke my heart and tossed me aside. I’ve heard thousands of rumors of what you done in the past, but I chose to ignore them. Does that make it my fault? She thought to herself. Even though deep down inside she believed he deserved to die, a huge guilt rested upon her shoulders because it was a horrible thing for her to do. Because of what she did, the Gods took away her powers for a hundred years, and a part of her still resented them for what they did. She took a deep breath, sliding her tongue over her small fangs.
You used to captivate me By your resonating light But now I'm bound by the life you left behind Your face it haunts My once pleasant dreams Your voice it chased away All the sanity in me
Annika stretched out her body, as she lay upon the ground, her tail curling up around her body. She gently laid her head down and closed her eyes, trying to get a couple of minutes of rest. She had lived in Nozomi for several years and worked herself up to be Guardian, which is a rank she enjoyed much. She got to work with wolves’ everyday, helping them out, but it was nice to be able to relax and be by herself. She was used to the stares. Many never saw a Yuurie-Dao wolf and wandered what she was. Annika was curious to know what they thought about her, but then again Annika knew she was unique; after all there were only a handful of Yuurie-Dao’s in the world. Yuurie-Dao’s were all females and when a Yuurie-Dao mated it was rare to get one female in a litter, let alone more. That was because their body held an anti-body that destroyed sperm that held the X chromosome which would produce a female pup. Annika was extremely lucky to be alive, and even more so her mother was one of the few wolves to produce two female pups.
These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone But though you're still with me I've been alone all along
Annika opened her eyes and looked around the colorful meadow. Her white pelt and light blue marks stood out against the colors, but she did not mind. Ah, this is a peaceful day. Let me enjoy this beautiful moment. She thought to herself with a genuine smile. Rbrtu zpzrmy od qtrvopid (Every moment is precious)

"Ella? Ella!"
The frantic voice of the male rose, growing more panicky as the seconds ticked by. "Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. What have I done?" His large paws slapped against the rocky ground beneath him, stirring up dirt and other bits of debris as he walked about in a quick circle, bright green eyes full of worry and remorse trained on the female that lay unresponsive before him. "It was an accident," he murmured, the panic still ringing in his voice as his chest rose and fell with his quick and shallow breaths. "It was just an accident..." The memory faded but the weight that came with it still lingered as the burly male wandered through the meadow at a leisurely pace. Memories like the one that had just came to Kratos may have upset another wolf, but he wasn't bothered by it; not even a little. It had happened so long ago and like he had told himself, it was an accident. Some might have thought he was mentally insane to not be bothered by the accidental death, one caused by his own self, of the one he loved. He had been, of course, upset at the time, but as the years grew on he eventually got over it. Ella wouldn't have wanted him to continue living his life in regret, wandering the world like a lost soul; and so he moved on. It wasn't easy, but he managed to do it and he was rather content with his life for the time being. His large paws swept across the grassy ground beneath him, leaving a trail of prints from where he began to where he was now. From a distance it looked like he was an average sized male with the appearance of a gray wolf. While the appearance part was true, to an extent, the size was not. He was well over four feet, nearly five, and he towered over most other wolves with his massive frame. His fur helped with that, making him appear even bigger than he really was. It ranged from an off white color, working its way up to a faint and pale orange, then a dark brown, then black with salt and pepper mixed in somewhere in between. There was nothing special, nothing distinguishing, but his vivid emerald green eyes stood out unlike anything else. There was something about them that seemed to catch anyones attention and hold it just long enough for them to get lost for a brief moment of time. Perhaps it had to do with him being a God. Perhaps it had to do with his abilities. One would never know. It occurred to him then, as his mysterious eyes roamed over the rather colorful terrain, that he wasn't alone; someone else was in the vicinity. His nose twitched as a cool breeze whispered across the meadow, tangling itself into his surprisingly soft fur, bringing the scent of another to him. His eyes searched the surrounding area ceaselessly until they locked on to the holder of the scent and it was then that he wondered; should he say something? He knew he was a foreign territory. He knew there was a pack around and he was just a mere wanderer passing through. It had been awhile since he had last made contact with another pack, let alone a single wolf. She was probably unaware that he was standing there, just a few yards away. Well, it wouldn't hurt to try. "Hello over there," Kratos called out, his voice, like his fur, was surprisingly soft and gentle but deep at the same time. There seemed to be a lot of things about him that were surprising. Maybe it was because he was a God, or maybe he was just a foreign creature in a foreign world. He proceeded toward the female with the same leisurely pace he had before, his figure growing larger as he grew closer until he finally stopped a good two feet away from her. "I'm Kratos," he offered with a dip of his head and a friendly, but cautious smile. He didn't know if she was a member of the pack that inhabited this area and if she was, he didn't know her rank. Better to play it safe.[/blockquote]

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL} It is such a beautiful day today; it’s nice to be able to relax. Have a moment of rest. Annika would never trade anything in her life, after all she loved helping others, if she wasn’t able to do that, then she wasn’t sure what she could do. After all helping others, was the whole point Yuurie-Dao wolves lived. That was their main purpose in their life, making sure that God’s creatures where doing well, watching over them, from the shadows, protecting them. That was her goal. She couldn’t think of doing anything else if she could not do this. She loved every moment of it.
The horrible thoughts before had now vanished, and she felt as if they were not even there. Now her mind was filled with complete joy, which is the only thing she liked to feel. She wasn’t one to mope. She coped with her own sadness; she did not dwell in it long. It came in sharp pains, but then is vanished in thin air as though it was never there, leaving nothing behind in her mind. Instead in lingered in the back of her head, ready to strike again, and Annika was ready for it. She was ready for it everytime it decided to strike, she no longer mind. One could never escape the past. They could forget about it and move on, but it was always there, in the back of one's mind. You just had to learn to accept it and deal it.
She twisted her head around when she sensed another wolf near by and heard his voice echo through the air. A small smile split across her maw as she pushed herself up from the ground, her long tail flinging itself behind her as if it had a mind of its own. She had to tilt her head upward to look at the male, which was rare for her. Annika was tall, but this male was taller, he wasn’t too much taller then her however.
“Hello,” she said in a cheery tone, “My name is Annika, nice to meet you Kratos.” She said with a tilt of her head as she looked into his eyes. She could tell right away. He was a God, which was much was obvious. Her kind had been created by Gods, and she remembered how only moments ago she was thinking about part of her resented the Gods, but only two those who took her powers away for a century. “Or perhaps I should say nice to meet you oh God of Sleep.” She said, still smiling up at him.

Kratos took in her appearance, his eyes seeming to linger upon the atennas on her head. He had never seen anything like that, not to his knowledge anyway. In a way it amused him, but not in the sense where he was going to make fun of her. No, Kratos was not like that. He was just intrigued by them. It occurred to him then that he was staring, and he had been taught staring was rude. "I apologize for staring," he murmured a moment later, a sheepish grin replacing the cautious one that was plastered across his maw just a second ago. "You just have a very interesting appearance. Unique, I would say." His emerald eyes gleamed with nothing but honesty. He thought over what he had just said and his grin faltered just slightly; he didn't want to come off as a creep. "Oh, I must apologize again," he said, a shameful expression crossing over his face. "I don't mean to sound rude or anything, and I definitely don't mean to offend you if what I said offends you. If it does, I apologize again."
It was apparent that he worried about hurting other wolves' feelings, or making them angry in some way. He didn't want to make the wrong impression on the first wolf he had spoken to in awhile. Perhaps it would be best if he just strayed away from the subject. The corner of his maw twitched as he tried to prevent a frown from surfacing. He was a little disappointed with himself, mostly because of the way he came off. However his thoughts and worries were interrupted when she spoke of his "holiness"; how did she know that?
Emerald eyes narrowing slightly in confusion, he asked the question that had just run through his mind. "How did you know that?" he asked curiously as he stared at her, wondering. Had he met her before? No, surely he would remember meeting such a unique wolf such as herself. Perhaps she had heard about him somewhere? But if so, where? "I must say I'm a little confused right now, but curious as well. If I've met you before, I apologize for not remembering, but I'm sure I would have remembered someone like yourself. Interesting..." He paused in his words, realizing he was rambling. He would just let her explain if there was even anything to explain.

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
Annika raised a brow when he apologized to her about staring. “No, it’s quite alright. I’m used to it.” She said with a hearty laugh. She was so used to it, that most of the time she did not catch if someone was staring at her. She knew that many had not encountered her species and almost no one knew of them. They knew none of what they did for the world. “Hmm, unique, yes I suppose you would call it that.” She said with a nod of her head. “No, you’re not offending me, so please stop apologizing. Stare as much as you want, it does not bother me.” She told him with a reassuring smile.
“If you wish to know what I am I’m a rare species.” She said looking at him, not turning her light blue eyes away. “A species with, hmm unique appearances as you put it.” She explained to him. She liked to educate others about her species; she did not want them to be forgotten. She did not want them to die out; she wanted her species to thrive. If it died then the world would not be what it was today. “A species called Yuurie-Dao. I doubt you have heard of us, but that’s okay.” She shrugged her shoulders, she had only met a few who actually heard of her species and even fewer who actually met one beside herself.
She shook her head at his next set of questions. She figured he would be curious how she could tell he was a God. “No, don’t worry, we’ve never met before. Hmm, you wish to know how I know you’re a God? Well it’s something my species has to know and lets just say I have a history with the Gods.” She did not elaborate. She did not know how he felt about the other Gods, and perhaps he knew the Gods who had punished her. She knew the punishment was probably fair, and it was the best thing, she learned several things when she had no powers. She knew how it felt to be a regular wolf, which had to work to survive.

"Used to it or not, I shouldn't stare," Kratos replied, chuckling quietly. "I was taught long ago that staring was rude, but sometimes I tend to forget." He paused to think about his time as a pup and the pranks he used to pull on his siblings came flooding back to him. A bark of a laugh escaped passed his parted maw and he shook his head as if he were trying to get rid of the memories. "Well, I apologize again. That was the last time, but I can't make any promises now. If you catch me staring again, feel free to bite my head off or whatever may please you," he said, his tone only slightly teasing. It appeared she didn't seem to mind his rambling, which was good, and so he relaxed, but only a little; one could never let their guard down.
His ears swiveled forward as she spoke of the Yuurie-Dao wolves, listening intently with genuine interest. Truth be told he hadn't heard of this species of wolves, but he was rather interested in learning more about them if she would tell him. "A rare species you say?" he asked, curiosity creeping back in his voice. "Well, then you really are a unique character." A friendly grin crossed his maw as he turned his gaze away to look across the meadow, taking in the many colors that surrounded it and listening to the sounds of the birds singing merrily without a care in the world. "And here I am, a God, who thought he's seen it all. Just goes to show you you learn something new every day," he said with another quiet chuckle, turning his green hued gaze back to her blue one.
"Well, it's a good thing we haven't met then," he spoke again. "I would feel bad for not remembering you." When she said she had a history with the Gods, a perplexed look crossed into his expression and his head cocked only slightly to the side. He wondered what she meant by that, but he wasn't going to press her for information if she didn't want to speak of it. "I'm sure everyone has a history with the Gods. Or, well, most of us." He wasn't really sure. In all honesty, he hardly paid attention to what most of the Gods and Goddesses did and who they had and hadn't dealt with. It really didn't matter much to him.

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
“I see, yes, I suppose it is rude, but when someone is constant being stared at then I guess I forget that in most cultures its considered being rude.” Annika said, she wasn’t sure if she was making sense. Her mother told her from the very start to be used to stares because she was different, but in all honesty Annika liked the attention. She liked to be notice, she was unique, and she didn’t consider herself a freak, more to the point that she was lucky. She stretched out her body with a yawn, turning her gaze back upon the God. “Ah, I don’t suppose I shall do that.” She said with a frail smile. For a split second a pain shot through her body, reminding herself of what she done to Kyros, but then it died, just like that.
“Yes, a rare species indeed. Only a handful of us live in the wild, so it’s quite rare to see one. Hmm, hopefully I’m not sounding conceited right now. I just take much pride in who I am.” She was always sure not to hurt one’s feelings, and she realized just now that her words seemed to make it seem that she felt she was better then everyone else, and that was not the truth at all, not even close to it. “A Yuurie-Dao’s job is to help others. We were born of magic and magic is part of us. Each one has a different way in helping others. I have to say mine is one of the common ones, healing.” She told him with a quick nod of her head. She watched as he stared off at the colorful meadow. “Even the wisest can learn something new.” She told him, repeating the words she heard so many years ago.
“Hmm, I suppose you’re right. All of us had some contact with the Gods, even if most of us are not as lucky to see one.” She told him, tearing her eyes from his gaze. She did not hate the Gods, she could not hate anyone, even Kyros, the one who broke her heart, and she could not hate him. No matter how much she tried. She turned her eyes back to Kratos. “The Gods created my kind to keep guard of the other wolves. To help them, when the time comes.” She did not want to say why she was on the bad side of some of the Gods. If others knew that she had killed, then her reputation would be destroyed.

"I suppose that makes sense," Kratos murmured in agreement with a quick nod of his head. Not everyone was taught the same thing; he should have known that. In fact, he did know that but he seemed to have forgotten. Was he slipping already? "I guess that's a good thing," he said, snapping back to reality. "Although I suppose I could always grow another head since I'm a God. I don't know; I haven't tried." His shoulders shook in his silent laughter. The thought of growing another head struck him as amusing, and the image that came with it was even more amusing. For a moment he wondered if he would even be able to grow back another head. It seemed blatantly impossible to him, even if he was a God. Sure there were perks, but really... that couldn't happen.
"I don't even know why I was thinking about that," he said to himself, having forgotten he was speaking to another wolf. His green eyes glazed over, his expression turning distant. He was undoubtedly absorbed in his thoughts at the moment, something that happened quite often when he focused on a specific thought. A breeze like before swept through again, shaking him from his thoughts and reminding him he wasn't alone. His gaze snapped back to Annika's, an apologetic look in his eyes. "I'm terribly sorry," he spoke, quickly shaking his head. "I got lost in my thoughts. It always happens at the most convient time," he said dryly, slight sarcasm heard in his tone as his expression went slack. "I need to work on that." He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly as if he was attempting not to get angry, but he wasn't anywhere close to that; it was just something he did after dismissing himself from his thoughts.
When she spoke again, he couldn't help but grin. It was nice to see a wolf who took pride in who they were. "No, no. Not at all," he said as the grin widened. "You're proud of who you are; there's nothing wrong with that. It's nice to see that. I usually see wolves that are 'Oh, woe is me. I despise who I am'. This is a nice change." His full attention was on her once more as she spoke of her kind. Unique and interesting, but also helpful. He was intrigued. "Well, you definitely sound much more exciting than us Gods and Goddesses. In my opinion anyway," he said, adding the last part as an afterthought. He had nothing against the other Gods and Goddesses, but he just didn't find most of them interesting. They all seemed to be the same to him, even with their different abilities and personalities. "There's really nothing superb about us. I don't see why anyone would consider themselves lucky to see one of us, but I guess everyone gets a kick out of something different."

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
Annika raised a brow at his comment about being able to grow a head back. She never heard someone say this, and when he laughed, she too couldn’t help, but chuckle. It was right a site to think about a headless wolf growing a head back. She supposes it was not impossible, but it did seem like it. “You sure apologize alot." She said with a shake of her head, her long tail flinging it behind her, but she paid no attention. She did not believe there was anything he should apologize too, she completely understood. Sometimes she would find herself staring off into the distance not paying attention to what was around her. “There is nothing to be sorry about it, I understand, sometimes I do it too.” She shrugged her shoulders at the thought.
“Aw, yes I’ve seen though. I’ve also met those who though too much of themselves. Well, I’m not like either one of them. I take pride in myself, but not too much was I believed I’m the greatest thing that ever walked upon this planet.” In fact Annika could name several wolves she truly admired; one of the main ones was her mother. Her mother was brave and strong, perfect in Annika’s eyes. Her mother is one she had spent most time with, aside her sister. She was left out of the daily life of her brothers and fathers, because they had different lives then her. They were completely different, but Annika still wished the best for them. Part of her had wished she had spent more time with them; things would be different when she had children again…if she had children again. She would focus her attention on all her children.
“I believe many wish to see Gods and Goddess because they’re life is unlucky and they want it to change. They believe the Gods and Goddess will bless them.” She told him. Many had come to her, pleading them to help their lives, but what they asked for, she could not give them. She was not someone who could grant wishes. She could heal, mend wounds, give advice, but that was the limit of her power.

"Hmm," he pondered as he took her words in. Was he really that bad? Perhaps it was time to watch what he said. "Do I really apologize that often?" He sifted through what they had recently talked about, mentally counting how many times he had apologized; one too many. His ears flattened back against his head as his emerald green eyes darkened just slightly as if a shadow had passed over them. He hoped his over-apologizing wasn't annoying. He didn't want to make a bad impression, though he was sure he wasn't, but what did he know? He just nodded silently knowing that if he opened his mouth, another apology would escape. He would only play it safe from now on.
One ear twitched, perking up slightly as she spoke again. He was a little annoyed with himself but not enough to the point where he wasn't paying attention to anyone else. He really wasn't the type of character to jus up and ignore someone anyway, regardless of how he was feeling. "There are some wolves, when they find out I'm a God, who assume I think that I am one of the greatest things to grace this planet." He snorted and crinkled his nose, a small amount of irritation flooding into his eyes. "All because I'm a God." He shook his head and sighed quietly, his expression going slack. "Of course I don't believe that. I think we're all pretty equal regardless of our status. Well, except for those bloodthirsty, muderous wolves..." He let his sentence die as his eyes drifted away, landing on a bare spot in the meadow.
He thought about what she had said; did wolves really think Gods and Goddesses could make their lives better just like that? Of course. He should have known that. Was he really that out of the loop? Perhaps a trip back to their realm would do him some good, but for now he would stay. He chuckled softly and rolled his eyes skyward, sighing in exasperation. "Oh, if only we could do that... just make everyones lives better at the drop of a hat. All the trouble in this world would be gone." He paused, staring up at the sky in wonder. "Or would it? Hm.. probably not. But those wolves need to learn that life isn't always going to go the way they want it to. Things will happen, mistakes will be made, you'll regret something you've done.. but you just have to realize things happen for a reason, even the bad things. You just have to learn how to deal with certain things, accept what you have done, and move on." He turned his gaze back to hers, wisdom now shining in his eyes. "Then you can be happy. That's how I see it anyway."

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
Annika let out a muffled laugh. “Its fine, but you don’t always have to be sorry. It takes a lot to bug me.” She told him. It was true, Annika only lost her temper really once, and the end of that was a messy business. Annika liked to always be calm, if she was calm, she seemed to notice everyone around her was calm. She liked to stay in a peace of mind. If things were getting stressful for her she took a deep breath and smiled. She knew things would work out eventually. No point in fretting over every little thing.
“I can see why they would think that.” Annika said. “After all Gods are mystical beings that wolves know little or nothing about. They created this earth and rule over it. Perhaps you don’t understand because you’re one of those mystical beings, but I do.” After all she lived as a mortal for a hundred years. She got used to their customs and could understand why wolves worshiped and praised the Gods. Some wolves got depressed really easily and wanted the easy way out, they did not want to work for their goals; they did not want to go through their pain. They wanted the quick and harmless way out. Sometimes Annika pitied them. They just didn’t understand sometimes.
His words stung a bit, they went through almost exactly what she been through. She regretted, sometimes. She was not perfect. Sometimes she had doubts and fears, just like everyone else. “Yes, I believe everyone needs to go through pain, in order to grow. No one likes it, the pain is not good, but in the end…I believe we’re all thankful for it.” She said with a smile, she knew she did. She had grown a lot for her ordeal. She stretched out her body. Today surely was peaceful and this was a present conversation she was having was Kratos. “I try to let others understand that whatever difficulties they’re going through, they can pull through, if they try hard enough.” She spoke as she tilted her head to the side, her eyes sparkling in the sunlight.

"Well then, Miss Annika, I apologize for apologizing so much," Kratos replied with a straight face, but his tone was teasing and his green eyes gleamed in amusement. "I must say it's a bad habit of mine. Perhaps I should break it. I think I may try that out starting now. You'll have to give me some sign or do something when I apologize so I now that I've done wrong." A broad grin stretched across his maw, revealing the pearly white fangs that were hidden behind his lips. He wasn't one to joke around quite often, but it seemed appropriate for now. And besides, it was nice to loosen up once in awhile, especially when most assumed wolves with a higher status, like himself, were always so serious and didn't know how to have fun. He was hardly at all like that.
His brow furrowed in thought as he listened to what she said. He had never considered himself, or other Gods and Goddesses, mystical beings but he supposed it made sense. They did rule over the earth they created and they held powers one could only dream of, but still... he wasn't sure. "I never really thought about it that way," he admitted with a wry smile. "I know we're different, yes, but mystical? Maybe. I guess I don't understand and I guess I never will." His shoulders raised in a small shrug. "But I guess I can live with that. Actually, I kind of have to because, you know, it's not like I'm going anywhere." He chuckled shortly and turned his gaze back to the sky, watching as some birds flew above and off into the distance. There seemed to be some sort of longing, some sort of wishing as he watched them fly off, but whatever it was disappeared as quickly as it had come.
"Life wasn't made to be easy. There will always be ups and downs. There will always be someone who hates you with a burning passion and someone who will love you unconditionally. There will be moments where you'll wish you were dead and moments you'll wish could go on forever. There's always going to be drama, but that's what makes the world go 'round." He paused momentarily and the corners of his maw turned down as he dropped his gaze from the sky. "I'm just rambling now." He snorted softly and shook his head. "Well, enough of that. How about a change of subject then?" He fell silent again as he sifted through the thoughts going through his mind, searching for something of a lighter subject. Had she said she was a member of the pack that inhabited this area? Maybe he could find out some more information and make a decision from there. "So, there is a pack here that you are a part of?" he questioned, hoping that he wasn't wrong. He never did like looking or sounding like a fool.

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
Annika giggled at his words. “Hmm, very well, I shall remember to tell you for apologizing…but then perhaps you’ll be sorry for being sorry.” The words begin to spin around her head, and for a moment she was confused at what she said, it took her a moment for the words to sink in. Annika liked to laugh and have fun. Kratos was a very enjoyable wolf to hang out with, not like she was bored or bothered by the other wolves she hung out with, but it was nice for once to be around a wolf who didn’t beg her to change their life, to heal them. She was more then happy too, but sometimes it was nice to take a break. Get away from all the drama, and just be able to relax.
“I’ve lived with mortal wolves for several hundred years. They believe the Gods and Goddess to be these wolves that can control their lives and change it. Although there are Gods and Goddess that can, most do not. It’s not a wise to do such things, they’re could be dangerous consequences.” She told him. She always thought that the Gods knew what the mortals thought of them, but she supposed it would be such there would be a few who did not know. Perhaps Kratos put himself out of the mortal’s lives and did not hang out with him much. Annika put herself right in the mortal’s life. They were not always bad. They were just like the Gods and Goddess and other wolves that were gifted with powers, except that they believed they had no control over their life, which is not true. They shaped their life. Not the Gods.
“No, life is never easy. There will always be challenges along the way, but that is what shapes you. Most that come out from struggles come out stronger then before.” She said agreeing with every word that he spoke. Some were lucky and did not have hardships, but Annika believed they were necessary to grow into a better wolf. Annika had her hardships and she learned from them. She did not know if she would take it back, but in the end she’d probably do it all over again, no matter how wrong it was in the first place. She came back into reality when he asked her the question. “Oh, yeah there is a pack that lives here.” She said with a nod of her head. “Nozomi is the pack. I’m the Guardian of the pack.” She explained.

"Sorry for being sorry you say?" Kratos asked as a deep laugh emerged from his throat. "Is that a threat?" he asked, quirking a brow in her direction. It was plain to see he was only teasing and he was having a swell time doing that. Very rarely did he ever get the chance to interact with someone the way he was right now. He was either too busy with his 'God' duties, or he was off wandering through the mortal world, speaking to only a few wolves at a time if they cared for his company. "I wonder if I should be scared," he thought out loud, the corner of his maw twitching upward in a half grin. "I think I should be since I have no idea what you are capable of. Of course I could just come up with some assumptions, but I don't judge others until I really get to know them. I think everyone deserves a fair chance unless they're completely insane with murderous thoughts or something of that sort."
When she spoke of what the mortal wolves thought of the Gods and Goddesses, he shook his head slowly and sighed quietly as if he were disappointed, which he was but only slightly. "When will they learn," he wondered as his eyes grew distant, "that they can't always get what they want?" His thoughts drifted and went back to a couple of centuries ago when he recalled wishing he could get what he wanted. He knew he wasn't going to get it, but he couldn't help but wish. "Come on now, we don't need those thoughts. No regrets, remember?" He had momentarily forgotten he was in the presence of another wolf. He thought back to Ella and what he had done; that was what he wished he could change. But he had come to terms with what he had done and eventually moved on, so why linger on the past again? His attention surfaced back to reality and he shook his head in an effort to clear away his thoughts, plastering a smile across his maw.
"Life wasn't made to be easy, but we'll live." He paused and then added as an afterthought, "Some of us will live... continue to live, I mean." That was how it was for him. He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of living forever, but he had already been around for more than a few centuries; how bad could eternity be? "I don't know if I would be fit for a pack," he said quickly, not wanting to dwell on the thought of living forever. "I wouldn't want anyone thinking I could change their lives or make something better for them just because I'm a God. I help when I can, but I'm not a miracle worker." He smiled shortly and let his gaze wander over the meadow, wondering if joining a pack would be a good idea. Living with mortals; could he do it? He had nothing against them, but he wasn't sure. "Maybe if I kept my status on the down-low," he murmured absentmindedly. It never hurt to try.

Annika;; {This P a i n is too REAL}
“Perhaps it is a threat.” Annika said with a raised grin, she tried to keep a straight face, as if she was serious, but sadly a grin broke free and broke her attempt. “Whatca going to do about it if it is?” She asked him with a tilt of her head, as she watched him. “Hmm, well I don’t believe I’m some murderous wolf.” She reassured him. Her smile was genuine; no one could tell that a sharp pain went through her body when she said the word “murderous” she was not a murderer though. It was an accident, kind of. She was not herself. It was a fit of rage, and the next thing she knew he was dead before her, his blood stained on her white coat. She shook her head. No point in remembering.
“Some are not like that. Some have matured and know that they can’t always get what they want.” Annika said with a nod of her head. She seen several wolves come up to her and beg to save, not their life, but a love one even if they were on the brink to death themselves. “Those wolves remind me why I’m here. That what I do is helping their lives.” She said with a smile, closing her eyes as she went into a deep thought. She reopened her eyes and looked at Kratos. She slowly nodded her head. “Yes, I know. No regret. Regretting gets no one anywhere. Neither is thinking of the past. To me, sometimes it’s a waist of time. The present is today. Why look into the past when we cannot change it or why look to the future when we cannot tell what will come?”
She knew how he felt. She was no God, but she was immortal, but there was a single flaw in her immortality. She could die. He could get sick, could get in a fight, but he would not die. He would continue on living. Annika’s road had an ending, even if it was thousands of years in the future. She could get sick, she could die. Of course because of her magical abilities it would be a tougher time to kill her, but in the end, she could die. “Yes, some are jealous that some of us are immortal. They believe immortality will answer their prayers. They don’t believe that sometimes, immortality can be a burden.” Her voice trailed off. Annika liked being immortal, but for different reasons them some would want immortality for, the longer she was alive. The ore she could help others. That’s all she wanted, was to be able to help others. Annika sighed, stretching out her body, her claws digging into the soft soil as her light blue eyes looked up at Kratos.
“I think you would fit for a pack. Sometimes, doesn’t it get lonely not being around with friends?” Annika asked him. “No one would know you’re a God, or at least most of them, not unless you tell them. Once they find out you’re the God of Sleep, perhaps they will believe you when you cannot help them.” She said with a playful grin.
