Species Name: Lupus de Lux lucis
Nicknames: Wolves of Light
Average Height: Can be anywhere from three foot, to five foot.
Average Weight: Average weight according to height.
Age: Immortal
Description:
Lupus de Lux lucis are wolves of well, light. They are made up of light, contained into a wolf shell. They all have a 'bad' eye, in which they can see the strength of their attacks, and a 'Guide' in which they catch when they are young. They travel to their home lands to do this, leaving behind their shell of a body and traveling to the Land of the Light in their 'true' form, which is of pure light. They then trap a 'mythical' animal, such as dragons, elves, phoenixes, fairies, pixies, and many other animals. These animals, once brought back, cannot speak to anyone, and are only released when the Orb they are trapped in is taken away from the owner in death, and smashed.
The wolves themselves normally have wings, and if not wings, some other odd mishap. They all carry around a 'orb' hung from their neck, paw, tail, ears, or something of the sort by light. Their light. Their light is reflexed by who they truly are, shown in a color. Which color means what? Why, not even I know.
Their fur and such range from whites, grays, browns, blacks, reds, and to a mixture of the colors. No, sorry folks, no purples, blues, or anything. They are normally the same color as normal wolves ;p
Most wolves are cheery, welcoming to help others. Very few turn evil, for they are light.. and while light isn't normally 'good', it isn't normally 'evil'. They are normally neutral in any war, unless they are a part of a pack fighting in the war.
The wolves of light are normally loners, traveling together only when they are born or coming to visit their dead family, in which they take their orbs and break them to free the Guide inside.
The orbs of the Wolves of Light are very valuable. When their owner dies, the power the owner used to stay alive is released, allowing the orb to become very powerful on its own. If a wolf learned to tap into the energy, they would have the power to take over the world. On the other side, if the owner of an orb breaks their orb to protect it, the owner dies.
History:
In the same war that created the Amasites, the Wolves of Light were made. The Five Amasites, thought to be the very core of darkness at the time{but were later proved not to be}, brought outrage on the Amasite Goddess of Death. Other Gods and Goddesses confronted her, demanding her to kill her Sons before they brought and more chaos. The Goddess did not listen to their threats of bringing a species that could undo the Amasites, and joining together several Gods and Goddesses at the time, made the Wolves of light. These wolves, made of pure light, were in the form of wolves, hidden in a shell that would contain their power, making it able for them to channel it.
For several hundred years these wolves waited, growing stronger in a valley called the Land of Light, watching the mythical creatures they had become friends with grow in anger at being contained.
One male wolf stepped forward, claiming he knew how to bring the creatures into the Land of Reality when the time came, and the creature still be free to come and go. Instantly, the creature agreed, and sure enough, when the time came, and the Light wolves were contained into their wolves shells, they brought the creatures with them in the form of orbs.
It wasn't until later until they found out what it meant.
As soon as they set paw on the land, war circled around them. Sent to destroy the Amasites, whom had by now broken up into the five packs, the Wolves of Light set out to destroy the five main ones. Well, most of them. A little under half took shelter, kept in hiding. And it is a good thing they did, for the wolves that went to fight the Amasites ended up dead.
For many years the Wolves of Light sat, waiting, until they finally made peace with the Amasites. Both species made from Gods, both made to so something or another.
And there we have it.
