Tescin jumped away as soon as Skyla ordered him too. she had growled at him, but it didn't sound like an angry one. Just one to get him to listen. His ears were behind hsi head. He did not shrink back to his normal size. If he had to fight Evelyn, which Skyla didn't want, but it could still happen, then he would do what ever he could to stop her. He glanced at Skyla, only for a moment. That glance held an apologetic face. I don't want you to get hurt... He thought to himself. He looked back at Evelyn and glared.
He then frowned at Evelyn. What was happening? It looked as though Evelyn was jumping, then a bright red light escaped from her neck area. He winced at the light, then looked back. There were now two wolves before them. He looked towards Evelyn. Then to the new white wolf. This is our guy. The one who threatened Skyla. He growled again. He did not jump. He didn't know if Skyla would mind an attack from him. The guy they wanted was there, why not attack? He moved his paws, dug them in the dirt. He wanted nothing more than to destroy that wolf. But he would follow what ever orders Skyla gave him.
It seemed Evelyn wanted him to die more than Tescin did. She was far stronger than him anyway. Tescin probably wouldn't have been able to do much. If he wasn't so angry at the white wolf he would have been fascinated with the way they faught. It was as if it was an art form to them. He growled a little; his name was Devonte. He dug his claws deeper into the dirt. He wanted to badly to join into the fight. he wanted the white wolf to suffer.
And then the white wolf ran away. Tescin was confused. Had Evelyn won? The bee-wolf frowned. What now? Evelyn must have cut her shoulder some how, for she began licking it. He couldn't see too much detail, but he knew she was looking at them. He looked towards Skyla. He shrunk back to his normal three foot height. He would explain to her later why he jumped, although he didn't fully have the answer. He did however, begin to have a crush on her. She was so powerful. Even though he wanted to protect her, he knew she was strong enough to fight her own battles.
He wasn't going to apologize for trying to protect her. She probably knew he was only trying to protect her. Unless she thought he had different reasons for doing it. He looked back to Evelyn. Should he say something? He was at a loss for words. He didn't want to be the one who broke the silence. He just looked at Evelyn, then the ground, then to Skyla. She would know what to do. He sighed. He only wanted to come to play a game. He never knew he would end up trying to protect the alphess, and failing at it. His ears were still pinned to the back of his head. What would they do now?

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
Skyla stood there in horror and shock as Tescin disobeyed her and attacked Evelyn. The events that happened after that were a blur. Before she knew it instead of one wolf, there were two wolves. She was not quite sure what was going on. She was still confused. Though something told her that the white wolf was the wolf who was forcing Evelyn to try to attack them, she stood there silently waiting to see what was going to happen. She held in her breath as she watched the white wolf run away. Good. She was afraid he was going to attack. They’re three of them, but she was not sure how strong he was. He seemed strong. Skyla watched as Evelyn took steps closer to her and said she was sorry. Skyla stood there for several moments, not doings something, before suddenly made her way to Evelyn’s side.
“Are alright you, Evelyn?” Skyla asked in a caring and warm tone as she looked at Evelyn’s wound. “That doesn’t look to you good. You should rest.” She said with a nod of her head, a small smile upon her maw. It was not Evelyn’s fault. Why should they not want to help her? How could they blame something on her that she could not control? It was not her fault. Skyla never believed it was her fault. “Is there anything I can do?”She asked her, with a tilt of her head.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
Evelyn looked from one wolf to the other. The male wolf looked less than happy of the events that happened, in which she instantly felt sorry for. She really had ruined their day.. Then the female came up, her words blurring together. She managed to make out the most of it, somehow, though. She shook her head numbly. "I'll be fine once I eat," She said calmly, wincing as she moved to stand up. It wasn't the brightest idea, so instead she sat up, keeping all pressure off her shoulder. "I'm really sorry. It I would've known that was going to happen, I would've steered clear of you guys." She whispered, dipping her head. "You are probably wanting an explanation, huh?" She added, rather quickly afterward. She sighed, looking down at her paws. "It'd be a long one," She stated, refusing to look up. She felt like a pup again, when they got into trouble. How long ago had that been? Too long for her to count. Did all alphas have this effect around them?
"Well, for starters, he is Devonte, apparently. He, a long time ago, killed my family. That night, he chased me down, and when I fell, he knocked me out, or something. When I woke up, his body was left behind, and he was in my head. Plus, I got the necklace." She took a deep breath, pausing. "Well, since then he's been in my head. He told me he was slowly turning me into him, but I wasn't sure if it was just to scare me.. Now I know it's true..." She trailed off, a shadow passing in front of her eyes. "Then we came here, and apparently I turned into a vampire like him, and well..." She trailed off once again, looking up for a glance at her. "You know the rest. That's the short version, really..." She added, looking back down at her paws.

when Skyla left to see Evelyn, Tescin stayed where he was and looked towards the ground. He let Skyla down. He kept hs head low, his ears pinned to his head, and slumped down. He looked at Skyla and Evelyn from the corner of his eyes. Evelyn had an arora of grace around her, one that wasn't there before her "change." Skyla already was beautiful to him. He felt awful. He had made a mistake.
He ran through his thought to try to think of a way to mend his mistake. He wasn't going to give her flowers. Though she liked them, it wasn't the way he fixed things. He could go over and talk to Evelyn and apologize to her for everything. That would be the mature way to handle things. He looked around him. There was a large puddle to his left. He stood up and walked towards it. He grabbed one of the many dead leaves around him and filled it to the top with water from the puddle.
the sky grew darker. Tescin looked up. Dark clouds swarmed up and blocked the sun. It would probably rain soon... Maybe since the sun's not visible Evelyn can come out of the shade. He thought. He turned towards them and carried the leaf for Evelyn. He looked to her in a very apologetic way. He looked down, then back at her. He set the leaf down for a moment. "I'm sorry Evelyn. I feel as though this is my fault. Please forgive me... I could help clean your wound for you." He said with a nervous smile upon his maw. He glanced at Skyla, then back at Evelyn. He felt so bad for what he did.
He picked the leaf back up and pleaded with his eyes. He only wanted to help. It was obvious he felt bad. His tail was tucked between his legs in an act of guilt. He put the leaf down and sighed. She probably didn't want his help. Skyla probably didn't want to look at him. He had heard her story. It seemed tramatic to her. MAn. I really screwed up... He sighed and whimpered so only he could hear it. A soft thunder could be heard in the distance. Tescin looked to the sky. He hated rain. He hated cold. He wished he was in a perfect world where nothing bad happened and where everything happened exactly like it was supposed to. But they weren't. Crap happens. And they're supposed to deal with it. this seemed to lean towards Evelyn.
Tescin sighed. "I'm sorry..." He said so quietly he wasn't sure if either of them heard. But he meant it with all his heart. He just wanted to be accepted. He hated messing up. He felt a drop of water of his nose. He went cross-eyed to try to see it. It probably looked kind of funny. He looked at the sky and another drojp fell on his coat. He frowned. Just great. This will make everything oh so much better. He thought and sighed one last time before looking up at the two females. He then thought how he should really stop sighing all the time. Someone would think he had a breathing problem or something like that.

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
“I’m sorry, that’s awful. Well, I’ll help you anyway I can. Whatever you want or need just ask.” Skyla told her with a slow nod of her head. Skyla understood her pain, to a point. That creature had killed Evelyn’s family and Skyla had betrayed her own. She turned her back on them and went to the dark side, stood beside their enemy as his mate, and declared her hatred for them. The sourness still left and aftertaste upon her tongue, something she could never get rid of. She would always regret what she had done. She looked at Evelyn. They’re moment of peacefulness was gone. “After all that’s what friends do for each other, right? Help each other.” She said with a slow small smile. Her eyes flickered over when she spotted Tescin next to her.
She felt bad. She could sense Tescin’s guilt about what he had done. She felt as she had done it harshly, he was only trying to protect her. Skyla sighed closing her eyes. She turned and looked over at Tescin. She gave him a small smile, wanting him to know that she was not mad at him. She did not hate him and she was sorry if she had hurt his feelings. She suddenly felt a drop of water hit her muzzle. A shiver ran down her spine as she tilted her head upward watching as the once calm sky was not filled with thick bulgy gray clouds that threatened to break any moment.
“It looks like it is going to rain.” She said in a slow tone. A calm look came across her features. She loved storms, they calmed her down. Many thought they caused destruction, but she thought the opposite of that. She thought rain storm as cleaners, they cleaned the land of dirtiness and impureness, leaving it clean. She turned her head to look at Evelyn and then back to Tescin. She didn’t mind the rain at all, but it did look like it was going to be a pretty big storm, and she didn’t think it was safe being around all those tall trees that could collapse easily upon them.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
Evelyn soaked in what both wolves said, turning her head up to the sky as it started to spit out random drops. She smiled softly, her eyes brightening up. The sound of rain hitting the leaves, ground, and even hitting the water of a lake always helped calm her. Often it made her sleepy, even.
Then she turned to the male wolf, anger in her eyes. She wasn't angry at him for attacking her, no. If she was in his place, she would've as well. "Don't apologize for something that was the right thing to do." She said calmly. "The truth is, I would've rather been killed in that moment rather than suffer through another second of him in my head." She added, her eyes softening. "Don't fret over it, okay? I mean, it was my fault. I haven't seen so many wolves in a long time, I got a little overwhelmed and more or less forgot how the sunlight effects me." She laughed softly. "It's my fault. But hey, he's gone for now. Once I get feeling better, I'll go after him and make him pay for the suffering he's caused." She spoke the last words as a promise. To him, to the alpha female, and to herself. She wasn't going to let that evil, cruel wolf do this to another wolf.
Evelyn turned when she finished, turning to the alpha female. "Thank you." She spoke softly. She smiled faintly, it barely reaching her eyes. "If you lot want, we could still play that game." She flicked her gaze over to the male. "After all, what's a little rain, mud, and lightning? Granted, I suggest we find a place.." She paused, looking out at the open field, and then at the trees above them. "Not so dangerous.." She finished, laughing softly. "And let me get me something to eat, so this wound and heal itself up. I don't want to test how far my tolerance goes." She said the words jokingly, but she was completely serious.

Tescin smiled and softly wagged his tail. Neither of the females were angry at him. He really disliked when others were mad at him, so it was nice knowing that they weren't. And Evelyn even agreed with his decision. Even so, I should think more before I act... He thought. He looked at Skyla briefly, then smiled wider. something about her... He liked it. He liked her, and he was realizing the more he was with her the more he liked her. Even when he felt he had done something wrong, she made sure he didn't feel bad. He looked at his paws, keeping that big toothy grin on his face.
He realized at that moment it wasn't the best time for a smile. He shook his head tersly and looked back up at Evelyn. when she looked up at the dark sky, she seemed a little brighter. He glanced at Skyla; it looked like she felt the same way, even though she seemed cold. He frowned and looked up as well. Was he missing something? Or was he the only one who didn't like water. He grimanced. No, you're the only one who is part bee.
He looked at Evelyn in almost shock. He kept his composure as best as he could, but he didn't know if playing a game in this weather was the best idea. Plus she needed to eat. She sounded like she was joking, so he couldn't be sure if she would actually eat them if she had to. He chuckled nervously. The thought of canibalism urked him. "I could play the game, but I don't want anyone to get hurt. And to be honest, I don't really fancy the rain." He said with an adorable, childish smile on his face. He just wanted to be friends with them.
He back tracked to what she said earlier. "If you think you should eat, then you should go now. I don't want you to test it either." He said with a laugh. He wasn't trying to get rid of her, he was just making sure the three of them were safe. As he thought about it more, playing in a thunderstorm is very unsafe. "I'll tell you what. Why don't we call it a day. I know it's still pretty early, but I think we should all just go relax after the storm passes." Tescin turned to Skyla. "Isn't there a lake in your lands? I heard that's pretty relaxing. Why don't we all go there to hang out and just chill. If we still feel like playing a game then, then we'll go for it. But I could use some good chill time." He said with a smile.
As he smiled, A bright light emitted from the sky and landed on the opposite side of the field. The loudest crack of thunder echoed through the lands. Tescin jumped and pinned his ears back as he winced through the sound. He frowned. "As of now, I think we should all take cover some where..." He said in a worried tone. He wasn't nessicariily worried about himself; more for the two females in front of him.

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
Skyla nodded her head. “Yeah, there is a lake not too far from here.” She said turning her gaze to where the lake would be. She could see the outline of the lake, even through the thick rain. She turned back to look at Tescin. She smiled softly at him. She did not know his thoughts about her, even if they had become obvious, she would be oblivious. She was oblivious to things that had to do with romance. Her smile was not flirty at all, it was genuine however. It was nice that things seemed to be calmed down now. “We can hold off the game for now, after all it’s not like we can’t do it later.” She said with a shrug of her shoulders. The weather was getting pretty nasty out. She loved the rain, but it seemed to be raining harder and lightning flashed across the sky. It’d probably be safer if they waited until later she turned her attention back over to Tescin and Evelyn.
“Yes, even though I do love storms, it doesn’t seem to be lightning up none.” She said with a shake of her head. She watched as lightning flashed across the blacken sky. She hoped a forest fire wouldn’t start. She watched as the trees swayed in the distance. “We’re not safe here by the trees, lightning could strike them, starting a fire.” She said, she didn’t think it would happen, but you never knew. She turned her head and looked around; she wandered where they could hide in such a short distance. It was beginning to get difficult for her to see because the rain stung her eyes. She blinked a few times, trying to shield them from the rain that poured down from the sky which was now a deadly black color.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
Evelyn nodded to the two, thinking for a moment. "I could meet with you two after the sun sets." She paused, looking up to the darkened sky. "This is normally when I sleep." She added softly, shifting her weight from paw to paw, seeing if she could put weight on the one she had wounded. Again. With a faint smile she looked at the two, the dull feeling of happiness filling her. In some part of her mind, she wondered if this hallow feeling was the most feeling she'd get... Then the lightening struck. She jumped when the light flared up, whining as the light that was brighter than the sun itself filled the air around them. When the light faded, her eyes were round, spots filling her vision while most of the background was painted red in her sight. She shook her head, feeling fresh burns on her skin. She muttered a cures or two before lifting her head. Lightening was just as bad, if not worse than the sun itself. Bright light... After blinking rapidly for a few moments, her vision returned to some parts, enough for her to lift her head to look at the two before her. She smiled, waving her tail once. "I should be going. This time of day doesn't welcome me, and I need something to eat. I'll see you two at the lake at sunset?" She asked, looking from one to the other. In her vision though, the two looked like they were far off, the spots still clouding her vision, the red still holding the majority of her sight. She shook her head once more, the rain that pounded around them feeling soothing against her burnt skin. She lifted her head to the sky, her eyes open as the rain fell in them. Most would think it would hurt, but, all she felt was a slight pressure, and her vision clearing. Interesting... She blinked the rain away, her vision restored. Rain helps lightning blindness... She made a mental note of that.
Then she looked up at the swirling clouds, and froze. "I have a feeling this storm will bring destruction on the land," She said calmly, shifting uneasily on her paws. "You two need to take cover." She added, turning to look at them. The swirling clouds... They came from far back in her memories. Yes, they cause big swirling funnels to drop from the skies. Sometimes, but even then, normally, the winds that came with were troublesome. She swallowed hard, flicking her eyes back to the clouds above. Most times the things never dropped the deadly things, but... She jumped as thunder roared through the air again, loud. Maybe it was just loud because of her hearing.. but.. She turned away from the two then. They would either take cover or they wouldn't. She needed something to drink, and fast. She could feel the craving growing with each passing second now, and before she knew it, she was running through the forest. She had left those two behind. She skidded to a stop, turning her head over her shoulder to look at where she had come from. She couldn't see the others any longer... She hoped they would take cover. She could feel the eerie winds toss her fur around now. She would find something, possibly a small deer or two or three large rabbits, and then take shelter herself.
~~~
Evelyn hovered over her victim, lapping up the last few drops of the vital liquid she needed. She straightened up, the stiffness where her wounds were at one time lingering. The storm raged on overheard, but she was listening to it in some distant part of her mind. She had withdrawn into herself, disgusted when she made the first kill. It had been a large rabbit, and the second a animal she couldn't recall the name of. Through her distant eyes, she could see the storm progressing. She was near the heart of it, she knew. She could smell the shifts in the wind, feel as it played with her fur as it changed direction every so often.
Then a big, fat, raindrop fell on her nose.
She jolted, surprised. She came back, the full power of her new, enhanced senses overwhelming her. Evelyn stumbled a bit, ending up falling to one side, lying in the grasses while the world spun around her. She had to get a grip on this.. power.. but... She whimpered, closing her eyes. She focused on one thing; The blood the pulsed through her veins. Then slowly, she stood, her mind reeling as she opened her eyes to look at the darkened sky overhead. She gasped at it, her eyes flying open. The day's events flew before her mind, and she looked at the land around her. She had to get to a creek, clean the blood off her, and make sure those two were alright.
Wait- Why did she care about those two so much? Right. They were the only living things she had talked to in a very long time... And they seemed to accept her enough..
Evelyn sighed at the fact, then stretched. Her muscles were strained, not use to the power they held yet. This was a painful change...
Evelyn retraced her steps, coming to a small stream she had found a while back. She washed her fur clean, even though by the time she got there the rain had take care of most of it. As she stepped out of the water, lightening flashed across the sky. It reminded her just how tired she was... And then she sighed. She was in no shape to travel. She could feel it, just as clear as when she was a normal wolf. The aches were because she had strained muscles that were unaccustomed to the power they held. Her thoughts were sluggish, coming like tree sap. Even her tail seemed under the weight of a boulder, her tail, of which, was hanging limply now. She lifted her tired gaze to the skies, biting back a cry. Why couldn't she just have ended that brute's life? Then she could take her own, and she wouldn't be trapped in this body that she hated so much. She would return to her family, saying goodbye once before following the brute and torturing him like he did her. Evelyn sighed, dropping her head so she could look at the ground. this life... It was a curse. She had lived too long, seen too much. She just wanted to sleep. But- those two were young. They needed to live. She stood frozen for a moment, rain rolling off her already wet fur and dripping onto the soaked ground.
Then she lifted her head and gave a howl. One that was searching, hoping to call over the wind, rain, and thunder, to find its targets. Those two at the clearing... She needed to know they were alright, and in some part of her mind, she added, because besides killing the brute, they are the only things keeping me to this world. Any shred of happiness I have felt over the past hundred years.
She sighed as her howl ended, her shoulder drooping. She sagged to the ground, lying, waiting for a answer. Otherwise she would just sleep here, even if she caught a illness that could threaten her life. She was just so tired. Evelyn sighed, opening her eyes. That was not the way to think. She stood up, padding to the cover of a solid-looking foundation. She ducked under it, the rain stopping it's pounding on her fur. She crawled into the shelter, waiting to hear back from her howl. At least she would have a chance to dry for a little before... she went to... sleep... And then she was out like a light. Rotation funnel like from her home or not, she was going to get a few minutes of shut-eye.
