If he could skip he would. The wolf pranced so happily into the meadow. It was morning now, and he had just come from the Samira Forest. It was so nice and warm there. It was strange going from warm to cold. Well, cold for Autumn. Winter was approaching quickly, but lucky for this wolf, he had a nice thick coat. Oh how he hated winter. Seeing as he was part bee, winter was difficult for him. He can't function as well. But he gets by. He always has a happy attitude, it's hard for anything to bring him down.
This wolf was three years old, and three feet tall. A nice sized wolf. When he was a year old, he was taken in by humans and infused with the DNA from a bee. It was a very tramatic experience, but he learned to accept it. He's begining to get used to it as well. His fur was black, yellow, and white. His back was mostly black with yellow spots near his hips and a yellow stripe on each shoulder. His forehead was black, and he had yello9w cheeks, and yellow just above his maw. His ears had black tips. His tail was striped with yellow and black; it looked most like a bee. The rest of his body was white, apart from his bright green eyes.
This wolf was Tescin, and he had come to the meadow for a specific reason. You see, he had just had a conversation with Skyla, the alphess of the Nozomi pack. She seemed down, so he suggested they play a game. He had learned part of it from a friend, and made another part of it up. He had never played his version, and he wanted to try it out. Of course, if she would rather play a different version of it, they would. He was going to let her choose. He was hoping to find some more wolves to play with them, but he didn't see many others in the meadow. But he knew there must be more coming.
He stepped up the pace and ran to the middle of the meadow. He spun around a few times, then sat down. He watched as another wolf was following him. He was happy she was coming. He thought this would really make her happy, at least, hhappier. He wagged his tail and yelled to her. "We can start once a few other wolves show up. But I'll explain the rules once some more wolves come." He said excitedly.

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
The sun broke free in the bright morning, making Skyla’s cold body warm up quickly as she followed behind her new friend. She stretched up her head toward the sky, closing her eyes, feeling the warmth hug her body. It was late autumn; winter would soon be on its way. She could feel the chilly wind blow through her thin fur, sending a chill down her spine. She did not mind though, even though she did not have very thick fur, she did like the colder days. Fall was beautiful indeed, vibrant leaves from the dead trees were scattered upon the meadow, the sun reflecting off of them. She smiled as she watched Tescin sit down. She was happy. Content that she had met him, he had made her feel better. She twisted her head around, taking in the moment, taking in everything.
Skyla was small compared to most wolves in Nozomi, but to an average normal wolf she was an inch or so larger. Her fur was a soft white color with lavender and black raindrops which ran down her long slender legs. Skyla held her head up high, her fluffy tail arched over her back as she walked over to Tescin. The sadness and doubt had vanished from her light lavender eyes and was replaced by eyes of who was strong and brave, someone who would never give up. Skyla fought in this world as a rebel, a title that will take her far. She never gave up then, why should she begin to give up now? She stretched out her body. Today was a new day. She could start over. She would be a better Alphess. She would be strong and brave. She would take the advice of Tescin and from Patronus. Their words were burned in her mind; she would never forget them, even if she had tried too. Things would be different now. Oh, so much different.
Skyla nodded her head as she sat down beside Tescin, her tail curling around her slender body; her body was still tall, even though Tescin was taller than she was. She looked around the meadow for a moment, remaining silent, before she turned to Tescin. “Hmm, okay. I hope others come soon, I’m curious to know what this game is about.”This would be nice. To be able to relax with a friend, and meet new friends. I can do it, I know I can. Father, you were right when you said I would become a great Alphess. I didn’t believe you, but now, I think I’m beginning too, finally understand.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
This was just great. Evelyn yawned, shaking her head. The morning light was blinding her.
"Think about how I feel" She sighed. That voice still hadn't given her his name, and they'd been together for how long now...? Long enough that she knew wolves were slowly becoming nothing more than scavengers.
"A little over a hundred years." "Do you ever shut up?" She snapped, a low chuckle echoing in her head. He was getting annoying, very quickly. She had been up all night, and now they were finding somewhere to sleep for the day.
Then she heard voices, and her head shot up. Well, she always heard the voice, but she never heard more than one. She could tell one was female, the other male. What they were saying, though, escaped her heightened hearing.
She glanced at the sun's position in the sky, then padded forward. If she stayed out more than two hours or so, she would have to take shelter. But right now.. they sun had just come up. It was annoying, but as long as it wasn't noon, when the sun was at it's strongest, she should be fine..
Then she spotted the two figures far off. She silently cursed the fact that the grass wasn't taller, but shrugged it off. Too late for that now. She continued to pad up to them, nodding a greeting. "Sir. Ma'am." She spoke to each in turn. Her voice had a accent, possibly a mix between country and Irish? "Might I ask, why are you two sitting out here in the middle of nowhere?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. As she did so, a ray of sunlight flashed in her blue, cold eyes, and she closed them, shaking her head slightly.
"What are you, insane? You're going to get us killed!" She bit back a reply, smiling at the two wolves in front of her. Keep a calm expression. They didn't need to know the Voice was in her head, they didn't need to know she was slowly being turned into a vampire wolf. She was a normal wolf, just... couldn't stand a lot of sunlight... and had to drink blood... and had heightened senses and speed, strength. Okay, she wasn't a normal wolf. But these two passerbys didn't need to know that!
"You are very lucky I can't come out now..." Wow, he was angry. That was a first. Evelyn dipped her head once more. "My apologies, I didn't introduce myself! I'm Evelyn," She nodded ever so slightly, a calm look on her face.
"Sure, act like you are a normal wolf. What kind of wolf says 'ma'am' or 'sir' or gives their name when not asked?" She ignored him. He didn't like socializing. He'd just rather eat the wolves. That thought made her stomach turn.
"Yeah, it is easier to have them dead so they don't talk back." He never shut up, did he?
"No." Ugh, at least with a normal wolf she could get away from them. With him.. She was stuck.
"One hour, Eve. One. If you go past that, we both burn up and die. Got it?" Of course she did. She knew it the moment she saw these two. Surely, talking to them wouldn't take more than a hour?

ooc: Um, Oren, your post is very confusing. You are powerplaying a bit. The only wolves that know about the game are Tescin and Skyla. Unless No Name has mind powers, he wouldn't know about it, and he doesn't. I'm going to ignore your wolf for now. I'm sorry. Tescin watched as Skyla padded towards him. He hadn't really paid much attention to it before, but she was really pretty. He smiled, and turned away, blushing at the thought. He wagged his tail when Skyla sat next to him. She seemed curious, and he liked that. He was excited too. He always loved playing this game as a pup, and now that he invented a new version, he was even moer excited. He hoped that Skyla would pick his version of the game, but what ever she chose they'd play.
He looked towards a new wolf that was coming over. It was a female. She was a light gray in color, and had black markings all over her body. Around her neck was a necklace with a red thing on it. Tescin wasn't really sure what they were, but they were pretty; that was for sure. He looked the wolf in the face. Middle of nowhere? She must not know where we are. "We're not it the middle of no where." He said with a reassuring smile.
"This is the Nozomi pack. I'm Tescin." He said and nodded to her. He wondered whether he should introduce Skyla, or wait for her to introduce herself. He decided to introduce her. He hoped she wouldn't mind. "And this is the owner of these lands herself, Skyla, our alphess." he said as he looked at her with a smile that said, "I hope you dont' mind that I did that." He looked at her a little longer than he needed to. In the morning light, he could see her better. He just wanted to make sure he had every feature memorized.
He turned back towards the female. "We were just about to play a game. We need another player if you'd like to volunteer. I'm going to explain the rules right now." He said, looking at both of them. He stood up, and stepped back so he could see them both clearly. "I played the game once or twice when I was young, and it's really fun. You start off picking an element. It can be a power you already have or one that you like, such as fire or earth, or even something having to do with the mind like a psychic power." He started, looking from Evelyn to Skyla. "Now there are three ways to play. You can play the safe way and try to guess the power. the player will give clues and we'll have to figure out what it is. That's the one we usually played as pups, it's the least fun in my opinion." He said, thinking back to when he'd have to entertain October and play that way.
"You could fight it out using only your element. If it isn't an element you have, then you'll take something from that element, such as water for the water element, fire or something hot for a fire element and so on. If both players can control their element then they'll fight it out like that. Which is why it's easiest to pick an element you control." He said. He knew this wasn't always possible. when he was a pup for example, he didn't have any powers. Even now his powers weren't so great. But he'd probably choose air as his element, seeing as he could fly and all. Or maybe earth, even though he doesn't control it, he sure does love it.
"The final way to play is like a scavenger hunt. Each player would have to find something relating to every element chosen. If it was flight, you could bring back a bird. If it was a mind power, you could bring something that hasn't been seen in a while, or something that is one of a kind, or even a spider, for they are very intruiging. You get the idea I think." He said as he looked to each wolf infront of him. He wagged his tail quickly behind him. This was his version. He'd never played it this way, but it seemed pretty easy. "For this version you could pick multiple elements so the game goes on for longer."
He was ready to play. He looked towards Skyla. "I'll let you decide which way to play. Sinse you're our alphess and everything." He said. He didn't say which was his version, just so she wouldn't be biased. He sat back down. He didn't really like the first way of playing. It was too childish. He liked to fight out with the powers, for that was always fun. But when someone got seriously hurt, then it ended right away. His version seemed to be good in every way. It could go on as long as he wolves wanted, and it's hard to actually hurt yourself. He smiled.

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
Skyla relaxed as she stretched out her body, feeling the ground beneath her paws. It was sure comforting at her. She looked at Tescin, who did not say anything, why spoil such a moment with useless words. No, in some movements’, like this, it was better not to speak. She shut her eyes, taking in a deep breath. She wanted to remember this; she wanted to remember everything happy in her life. Maybe then when the flashbacks came, the pain would quickly fade. She knew she could get over the pain if it wasn’t for the flashbacks. Memories were often hazy and slip into the darkness over time. But the flashbacks were clear and cause her to remember, even if she doesn’t want too.
Skyla twisted her head when she spotted the female approach them. Her words made Skyla realize she did not realize whom she was speaking too, but she did not mind. She was just about to speak when Tescin had spoke for her, in his place. A smile came across her maw as she shook her head. “No, I don’t mind.” She said turning back to the female giving her a friendly smile. "Hello, nice to meet you." She felt like it would be rude not to say something. She turned her gaze back to Tescin as he began to explain the games. She listened intently. They sounded interesting. She wasn’t sure what she could do with her psychic powers. They were stronger then her father, but she only had one attack power. Even so, she could figure it out somehow.
“Hmmm, I think I like the second one better.” She said with a nod of her head, lifting her head upwards more so she could meet his gaze. Hmm, this could be interesting, and it takes my mind away from, unwanted thoughts.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
"Nozomi pack? I haven't heard of it." Evelyn said calmly, a thoughtful expression washing over her face as she shifted through old memories. Nope, nothing. "You wouldn't hear of every pack."
She sighed. "As long as it doesn't take too long, I don't mind joining in at all! But only if you would let me join in." She said with a small smile. A game... How long had it been since she had played a game? This should be interesting.
She nodded at each suggestion, weighing out the pros and cons of each. And she nodded again when the alpha female decided. "May I ask one question, though? Does it have to be elemental? Because, my... 'Gift' doesn't really involve any element.." She asked, tilting her head slightly. She looked like a big pup.
"You're going to be playing a game. A game for a pup. Are you insane? And your powers are from a element, the element of night. I'd think you would've known this by now." Evelyn only blinked at his rambling. Element of night... She could possibly use that. It wouldn't be on the normal four elements... And she wouldn't have to come up with some weird way to associate her power with a element...
"Wait- wouldn't fighting the alpha female of this land the first time you meet her not be the smartest idea?" She frowned, looking from one wolf to the other. It was meant as a joke.
"You failed." ... If and when he got out of her head, she was going to kill him.
"The only chance I'll be getting out of your head is when you are near death, or you are a full vampire." Evelyn bit back another sharp reply. Talking to herself was not the best first impression...
Then it hit her. She would be doing all the fighting! The voice couldn't take over her body in the day, they'd both die! That meant she wouldn't have to worry about winning unfairly.. But what if blood was drawn? "... You are just now realizing this?"
She flicked her ear, turning to the alpha female. "It is nice to meet you too, ma'am." She said, dipping her head slightly. She needed to show respect. Didn't most wolves? "No."
She really needed to find a way to block him out.
"I'd be up for going first. I mean, I have to get going soon either way. The sun doesn't really..." She paused, thinking of how to word it. "Like me."
"Oh wow, that was wonderful! They won't be suspicious at all!"
She tried her best to ignore him, focusing on the two in front of her.

Tescin cocked his head at the female. Never heard of Nozomi...? He questioned her. But Nozomi's pretty famous... He thought, but smiled any way. "Well, if you decide to join the pack, I think you'll enjoy yourself." He said with a toothy grin upon his maw. I'm sure she'll like it here. He thought. He looked at the wolf curiously. There was something strange about her. He hoped he could get to know her during the game, now that he knew she'd like to play. She seemed like the kind of wolf that would keep his intrest.
The insect-like wolf wagged his tail when Skyla chose the second option. Sure it wasn't his version, but it was better than the first version for sure. He ran through the different elements he could use. We could either choose to play with elements we alraedy have... Or we could "pretend." If we did it that way I could use the Earth element... But that isn't as fun. I'll see if they don't mind using powers we already have. He thought. He looked at Evelyn as she questioned the game. "Well, I'm sure we can work something out. If you'd rather 'pretend' with powers, say you use water and such and i use earth. I don't have that power, but we can use something similar to the element, like water from a pond and i'll use mud or something. But what ever power you have; I'm sure we could some how incorperate it into an element." He said with the most friendly of smiles.
He blinked at Evelyn. Sun doesn't like her? This is odd... He thought, but smiled anyway. "i don't mind if you go first. You and I can go first, so I can help demonstrate. What powers do you have? Just so I can help you figure out what to do. You too Skyla." He said, looking back towaards Skyla, whom he hasn't paid much attention to sinse Evelyn started speaking. She seemed so... He couldn't describe it. And sinse he wasn't one to judge, he wouldn't himself describe her. He'd feel awful if he did. So he just smiled at her, and looked back towards Skyla. Skyla seemed happy now that they've been talking. I've definately made progress... But I still need to do more.
And then he remembered. Oh! I almost forgot! he thought frantically as he looked around him. He turned his head around while looking around the meadow. There has to be some around here some where... He stopped moving and slowly looked back to the two females near him. He chuckled nervously. He must have looked like a fool. "Heh heh, sorry. Excuse me for just one moment..." He said quietly and walked a few paces to the east, sniffing the ground until a scent fluttered into his nostrils. Here we go... He thought. Though it was Autumn, there were still a few wild flowers about the field. He picked the small purple and white flowers. There were about four or five in the small bunch. There were hanging by a small stem, each connected at the end. He looked back towards the females, mostly at Skyla, and padded back towards the two.
He laid the flowers at Skyla's paws. A bright smile was on his face. "I thought you'd like some more to add to the small pink one from the The forest." He said, his tail wagging wildly. He looked hopefully towards her. she liked flowers, and he told himself he'd bring her more. He came back to reality and looked at the other female. "Sorry, I just had to fufill a promise to myself." He said in an apologizing tone. He sat back down, and asked Evelyn, "So, how would you like to do this?"

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
Skyla smiled softly, tilting her head to the side, giggling. This was going to be interesting. She couldn’t wait to get started. She waited patiently as Evelyn spoke and then Tescin. “Yeah, I mean I don’t care…but hmm, I’m not sure how this is going to work out.” Skyla wasn’t sure how she could show her power, well one of them she could, but it was dangerous. She could not control her visions. They came and went, leaving her only with a headache and horrible pain. She relaxed though, she had a vision just a few hours ago, before she ran into Tescin, so she was positive that she would not have another one for a couple of days. They could pretend, but she wasn’t sure how that would work out either. Aw well, we’ll figure something out. She thought with a shrug of her shoulders. She wasn’t going to fret over it.
“Oh, what are my powers?” She asked, shaking her head, going back to reality as she turned to look at Tescin. “Well, you see that may be a problem.” She said with a light laugh. “I inherited my father’s curse, or at least that is what he called it. I have visions, randomly, I cannot show them. My other power is dangerous for both me and whoever I do it too. I am able to put them to sleep, forever. They’ll face things much worst then death during their dreams. However this leaves me powerless and on the brink of death.” She said with a shrug of her shoulders. That’s all the powers she had. They were nothing to exciting. Her father called his power a curse, although Skyla was somewhat afraid of her powers, sometimes they were useful. When they were visions. She hated the flashbacks. They had a control of her life, a claw digging into her heart that she couldn’t fight.
She watched as Tescin leave. She tilted her head to the side, wondering where he was going. When he returned with a flower she looked up and grind, it sat right next to one of the pink blossoms he had picked earlier. Then something unsettling happened. Skyla listened to Tescin talk, but she could not hear him. His maw’s moved and she knew words were coming out, but she was deaf. She could not hear him speak. It was as if someone had plugged up her ears. She blinked a few times, her eyes shading over and become blurry before she could no longer make out Tescin’s or Evelyn’s figure. A pain of fear shot through his body. Oh no, please not now. She thought as she shut her eyes. She began to feel light headed and the last thing she knew she was falling to the ground. All she saw was black, but then figures began to form.
“Skyla, you inherited my curse. It’s a pain. To know what is one’s future. If I didn’t have this power then I wouldn’t be regret to my family. They would have cared for me.” The dark figure was a shadow, but slowly the picture became sharper and she could see the visions of the past perfectly.
Every word was like a knife to her heart.
“Father, if you did not have the curse then you would not have come here. You would not have met mother. I would not be heard.” A younger Skyla said. She could see that she was leaning over, her father was on the ground, and he was not breathing regularly. There were others around them, but they were blurry and she could not make them out. There was fear in the young Skyla’s voice. “This curse can be turned into a blessing!”
“You are strong, Skyla.” Phantom said, turning to look away. He was lying on his stomach, his head rested upon his paws. Everything about him was just wrong. He was not acting like the father she had grown up with. It scared her. “I believe in you, Skyla. One day you’ll become a great Alphess. Much better than I ever could be. We are both the same, yet we are both different. You can adapt to this small world of ours. You go with the flow, you’re strong, you will fight to the end….Skyla, and I hope you understand that I never meant to hurt you…” his voice was beginning to fade. “I regret I won’t be able to see you grow up.”
“Father! Don’t speak like that.” Tears began to drip from her eyes. “Don’t speak as if you’re gone…” but she knew it. He had given up his life to break the curse of Nozomi. They were free, but he was dying. Before long he would be dead. "Father…” she cried.
“Skyla, be strong…” those where his final words as he slipped into the abyss.
“FATHER!” Skyla screamed.
The flashback faded and Skyla opened her eyes. She was panting hard and she realized she was upon the ground. Unknowingly she had been screaming ‘father’ for several minutes that she had been knocked out. She pushed herself up from the ground, for the first time she realized her coat was wet from all the crying she had done. She pinned her ears back upon her head. As she looked shyly at Evelyn and Tescin. Oh no, why now? Why did a flashback have to happen now? She felt numb all over. She did not feel happy like she had moments ago, she did not feel sad like in the flashback. She felt numb. A shiver ran down her spine as her mind recaptured the memory, the feeling, everything was perfect about it. It was as if it was not a memory, but as if she was reliving the moment her father died all over again.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
"My powers? Basically strength, speed, enhanced hearing and such. Nothing interesting." Evelyn shrugged, her smile fading fast when she saw the alpha female fall. Instead of dart forward, as was most's instinct, she took several steps back, frightened. Did she do something? "No. Only ones like me have that power..."
Well, that was good to know.. Somewhat. then she started hearing the cries, and shivered. 'Flashbacks' of her own flashed before her eyes. Memories. Her mother... father.. Both killed before her eyes. "I love it when you have flashbacks of that time."
She couldn't hold it this time. "Shut up! Leave me alone! I didn't ask for you to kill my family! I didn't ask you to get inside my head and torture me for over a hundred years! I didn't ask to be turned into whatever you are! So just shut up for once!" She snapped. She could feel her body shaking. Anger flowed through her veins, her eyes watering not only because she was crying, but also because the sunlight had grown brighter. She snapped back when the alpha female stood up, looking from one to the other. Should she tell them? They would see her as a threat.. If they didn't already think her insane.
She shook her head. She was scared. For once, in a long time, she was scared, worried what the two thought of her. "You did ask for all of those things, or do you not remember?"
She could feel her pupils shrink. She never asked for this.. She stumbled back. "I never asked for this... I never.." "Oh, sweet, you did. I remember that day. You asked for the end. You asked for power. You asked for your family's death. You asked for them to be tortured. You said you would do anything."
Evelyn shook her head slowly, forgetting the other two wolves in the area. "I didn't... I don't remember.." "I do." Then she saw more images. It was like a dream, shifting through a memory. She was standing in the middle of a clearing, shouting at the sky. She was young, the rain falling around her.
Then she remembered. She did ask for this.
She stumbled again. "I didn't.. I never meant it!" She cried, closing her eyes and dropping her head. "I never meant it. I was young... I didn't know what it meant.. To be alone.." "How was I suppose to know that?"
She could see his white form, a smirk on his blood-stained teeth.
Evelyn looked up at the two wolves then. She had to deal with them first. Then she could handle the rest later. "I'm part vampire." She said blandly. "A vampire.. one that says he is 'Purity' is in my head. I suppose trapped in the pendent. If I take it off, I die, he lives. He killed my family. I've been with him for longer than most will live." "Blunt... I like it."
She dug her claws into the ground. If she stayed out here. They both would die. "You think I would let you do that?" His laughter echoed in her head. She just dug her nails in deeper to the ground.
"I need to go now. The sun doesn't like me. Sadly, it is also the only time he can't take control of my body. Nice, isn't it?" She smiled harshly, turning to the two wolves. Her teeth flashed, showing just how sharp they were. "He likes wolf blood. I can't stand it. Don't have to worry about that." She added, turning away from them.
Whither they thought her insane or not, it didn't matter. She could feel her fur heating up. She could feel it starting to burn... She wouldn't be surprised if smoke had began to rise off of her fur. She just kept walking, almost in a run, until she hit shade. By then, her fur was smoking. She shivered as the coolness of the trees washed over her. She looked back, looking at the shapes of the two she had left behind. Would they follow her? Would they try to kill her? She flicked her tail, and stumbled when her mind was pulled back.
"What are you doing?" She snapped, her voice echoing in her own head. "Moving you before you get any more bright ideas." She snarled as his words came from her muzzle. Her snarl, however, was only in her head.. or, his head now. Then her paws and legs jolted forward, and she was skimming along the ground. This was speed she would never be able to run, even with her extra speed boost. Then she remembered her anger. She growled, pushing forward. Then she noticed she was on the ground, the voice yelling as she stood up numbly. "I will not let you control me anymore." She stated, pushing her numb body off the ground. She had gotten more than one deep cuts as she slid on the ground. "I will not be controlled by a murderer." Then she turned around, running back the way he had came. She would stay in the two wolves' sight. they could talk to her, but she would have to stay in the dark.. The wounds on her legs and side healed, her thirst growing slightly. She would have to eat something when night came around again... Then she was on the edge of the clearing, and she sat down.
The voice hadn't said anything in all that time. When he did, he was more than angry. "You brat! I have done nothing but help you, and now look at you! You have been spoiled! All of your life. I have done nothing but help you. I gave you immortal life. I've help you turn into what you wanted! I helped you feed when you were near death so many times... And now you treat me like this?" She almost laughed. "Helped me? You've tortured me. Nothing but. You forced me to eat that nasty things. You killed my family! I don't care if I asked for it or-" Her eyes glazed over. Her body stiffened, shaking slightly. "No." She whispered. "Oh, this should be fun. Vampire instincts kicking in... I won't help you this time, either. Lost a bit of blood, didn't you? Plus the amount your body used to heal yourself..."
"No!" Evelyn stood up, backing up. Her stomach was turning. She was thirsty.. again. She needed something to... No, she couldn't think that way! She closed her eyes, shaking her head. "No!" She shouted. No. Not now! She opened her eyes, whining when they locked on the two figures in the middle of the field. No.. No, no, no, no, no! She took a involuntary step forward, whining when she took another. No... No.. She couldn't. All she could hear was the voice's laughter.

Tescin thought about Skyla's optional powers. "That's fine then. We can play the pretend way. Where you choose an element you want or like and we can play like that. No biggie. Or we can play a different way. What ever you..." He stopped. Something was wrong. He could tell. Her eyes were glazed over; it was like she couldn't hear him. "Skyla...? Skyla!" He asked frantically. She fell over onto her back. "SKYLA!" He yelled to her, trying desperately to make her hear. He moved to her quickly. He went to her head, making contact to the chest to see if she was breathing. As he moved close to her she shreiked "Father!" into his ear. He yelped, for eh was startled.
But she was breathing alright, panting really. But before he could concentrate too much on Skyla, Evelyn started acting strange. he knew the best thing to do was to act calm. He didn't remark about him killing her family. He wasn't going to get angry or anything at them. He was about to speak to her when she spoke first. Something was wrong with her too. She was freaking out over something. Something way different than Skyla. When she was done freaking out, she looked at him bluntly. Vampire...? He didn't know what was going on. He was so terribly confused. He looked long and hard at Evelyn. Did the thing inside her head want to kill her? Or them? He stepped back for a moment.
But when Skyla started shaking, he took another step to her. He stepped infront of her, as if protecting her. He wasn't going to let anythign happen to her. He would die if he did. He wasn't sure why he was so protective suddenly. Sure, There was a vampire wolf who thirsted for wolf blood, and sure Skyla was caught under a nightmare that she couldnt' fee herself from, but still. He didn't have time to think it through. He just did it. He grew larger, at least a foot and a half larger than he just was. He wsa not going to leave Skyla unprotected. He growled so softly that it was almost inaudible. But even when Evelyn walked away he loosened up a bit. He didn't realize the hair on his back was raised until Evelyn was in the shade.
Tescin looked back to Skyla. She was crying and shouted "Father!" once more. She was panting quickly. He ran to her and put his maw near her ears. "It's ok Skyla. Everything is alright. It's going to be okay. Shhhh..." He said, trying to calm her down as best as he could. He didn't know what to do, so he licked away the tears from her face. The tears were flowing very quickly. He went around to the other side of her, so she could see her face. She was so pained. He licked the top of her muzzle and licked away the tears some more. "It's coing to be okay." He repeated. He felt an even stronger need to protect her now. More than before. Now that he has seen how vulnerable she could be, he didn't want anyone else to see it. He wanted ehr to be happy all the time.
Just then he heard pawsteps behind him. He turned around and saw Evelyn coming towards them. But there was a different look in her eye. Like it wasn't her, but the "purity" she mentioned. He growled loudly this time. He turned his whole body towards her. "Get away." He said in a menacing growl as he clenched his teeth and raised his gums so that the teeth were visible. He grew even larger still. He was now standing at about five feet. He wasn't going to let her hurt Skyla. It seemed like Evelyn wasn't in control, but like she was trying. He still did not relieve his position. He growled even louder now, snarled to put it bluntly.
He heard Skyla stand behind him. He twitched for a moment, but still did not loosen up. She was going to feel like she missed a lot. Looks like the game was over before it even got to start. He wanted to tell Skyla what was happening, but he wouldn't dare let his eyes off of Evelyn. He snarled again. "I said get away!" He yelled through a growl he would not let up. He moved slowly towards the beast approaching them. If Evelyn couldn't get in control, Tescin would not go easy on her.

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
When Skyla awoke from her nightmare, she was confused. It took her several minutes to understand where she was and what was going on before she fainted. Her eyes went wide as she watched as Tescin told Evelyn to go away, but why? Skyla twisted her head so she could see Evelyn better from behind Tescin. There was something different about her. Skyla shook her head, which just made the throbbing of her migraine worsen. What was going on? She was so confused. One minute she blacked out and the next minute when she awoke from her flashback Tescin was trying to chase of Evelyn.
“What’s going on? Tescin!” Skyla asked pushing herself up from the ground and walking beside him. There was no time to worry about her aching migraine or the memories that had just stirred. She needed answers, and she needed them now. She turned her gaze over to Evelyn. “I don’t understand…what’s going on?” She repeated once again, tearing her eyes over to Tescin. She kept on turning her lavender eyes from Tescin back to Evelyn. Ah! Why did she have to faint now! She hated to be confused and she was hurting. She felt icky because salty tears had soaked her coat from all her crying and now her eyes were blood-shot, but she did not care. She just needed to have some answers. “Tell me now! What’s happening to Evelyn, why do you want her to go?”

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
Evelyn's heart was beating like a dragonfly's wings. The beating... it was like a drum. It had a rhythm, if one could listen to it, and understand the fast beating. The blood pounding in her ears didn't help any.
She swayed, managing to take control of her walking for a moment, long enough to stop. Her face was in pure terror. She didn't even register the shouting, couldn't see their faces. She could just hear their heartbeats, and the cruel laughing of the voice.
She was still in the shade, her ears flat against her head. Her body was shaking, trembling. Anyone from any distance would be able to see it. She was shaking violently. "Run." She managed to whisper. Whither if the two heard her, she couldn't tell. She didn't know where she was.. She didn't know where they were. Just their heartbeats.. the blood.. She could hear it.
Then she took a step forward, a serious pain covering her paw. She yelped, the pain snapping her out of her state of mind, even if just for a moment. She jumped back, looking down at her paw. She gently put it on the ground, whining when pain shot through her entire leg. Then her vision focused long enough to see it had been burnt. She was on the very edge of the shade. A wave of relief washed over her, she couldn't get to them if they were in the sunlight! But what did this mean?
"It means you are that much closer to becoming like me, sweet. Oh, if only I'd thought of this earlier!"
She stood there, her shaking stopping, her eyes wide as she felt her limbs go numb. He- She felt rage filling her, even draining out her need for blood. Instead, she felt like howling, in the middle of the day. Her body shook, her eyes narrowing. "Get out of my head. Get out of my head now!" She shrieked, shaking her head violently. "Get out, now." She repeated, her eye closing, her head hanging, her ears flat against her head, and her tail nearly touching the ground. Her legs shook uncontrollably.
"I can't do that, sweet. There is no turning back now." She could imagine his toothy grin. His hateful look in his eyes, his aura of power that surrounded him. "I hate you.. Get out of my head!" She cried, ignoring the fact other wolves could see... and hear her.
"Lets show these lovely wolves you are not insane, shall we?"
Evelyn's head shot up. "No!" She nearly screamed, her eyes growing wide. It was then she could see the other two wolves. Fear filled every corner of her body as ice ran through her veins, and then her mind was drawn back.
Evelyn let out a cold laugh then, her shaking vanishing. The voice stood her body tall, his eerie laugh filling the area around her. Inside, Evelyn shuddered. Her own mind racing. She couldn't take her body over again! She was too weak!
The wolf padded at the very edge of the shade, his eyes of pure hate. He was calm, it was clear. Maybe a bit overjoyed, as well. Oh, he hadn't been able to act like this in so long. After he was done with Evelyn, he would need to get a wolf with more back-bone.
"Why, greetings, wolves. So innocent aren't we? Never shredding a drop of blood for no reason. What shame. Bad use to such talent."
Trapped inside her own mind, Evelyn was shouting. She needed to get out. She needed to get him out. She needed to get in control of her life again!
"Oh, Evelyn is so frantic for your well-being. Very interesting. The last time she acted like this was when I murdered her family. Her brother put up quite a fight. So did her father. Her mother just pleaded with me, not to take her children. Stupid wolves." He laughed again, coldly. His tone was completely different than Evelyn's, it was more... dark. Evil. Deadly.
"What will I do to such a pretty female?" He flicked Evelyn's eyes to the wolf behind the male, a more than creepy smile spreading on his face. "If only I could still get into my body.... Then I wouldn't be so limited by this one.." He frowned, lifting Evelyn's still burnt paw.
He turned around, pacing back and forth. He had the look in Evelyn's eye of a hunter. A hunter looking at it's prey. He licked Evelyn's lips, running her tongue along her teeth. Oh, were they sharper than before? Interesting.
He then flicked his eyes to the male, a cold, bitter laugh filling the air. "You think you can harm a Purity? I highly doubt you know what I am, much less how to beat me. You wouldn't want to hurt poor Evelyn, would you?" He pouted, hesitating a few seconds before laughing again.
-{ I put his actions in italics. Just to sort it out a little more. When he's in control of Evelyn's body, I'll put it in italics now ^^
Color Guide:
Evelyn: Speech when in control of her body Speech when voice in in control of her body In control of her body
The Voice: Speech when in Evelyn's head Speech when in control of Evelyn's body In control of Evelyn's body
Bold Is when other wolves can hear. It is coming out of Evelyn's mouth. Non-bold Is when it is like a thought in her head. No one but her and the voice can hear. }-

The brute knew he needed to tell the alphess what was going on. What if she got hurt? He couldn't let her do that. He didn't take his eyes off the female though. He wouldn't let that beast get close to them. Though he was snarling, he still managed to tell Skyla what was happening. "Something's taken over Evelyn. She's a vampire, and I think what ever took over her wants our blood." He said, trying to sound calm but failing as he couldn't stop growling at her.
He was made uncomfortable when Skyla stood beside him. He knew she was alphess, but if anything were to happen to her, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. He thoguht about what he could say to get her behind him. He then remembered when they were trying to think of a power she could use. Her power was fatal to her. "Skyla, I don't want you do use your power on her if we have to fight her..." He said outloud. He didn't order her to get behind him, but he slid over just a tiny bit in front of her, just so he had a bit of an advantage.
As he thought about it more, he realized that he didn't have that great a power either. He could sting, which hurt at the moment, and swelled a little, but didn't do much in the long run unless she was allergic to bees. He doubted she was allergic to them. He could also fly, which gave him an advantage, but left Skyla unprotected. He could grow, but he was already large as it was. He could also shrink, which made his sting attack more painful, but didn't protect Skyla much either. He thought quickly; what could he do? He ran through his thoughts.
He heard the wolf infront of him speak such harsh words. "How could you possibly treat your host--" He stopped. Evelyn was looking at Skyla. Spoke in a mocking tone. A pang of jealousy ran through Tescin's body. He snarled again and loudly made a sort of growl, bark, howl mix. He couldn't contain himself any longer. He pounced towards the wolf. He didn't know what to do, but he tried to bite at a key point. What the heck is a key point for a vampire wolf?! He asked in his mind frantically. He tried to bite at the wolf's necklace. Evelyn said something about this being important... He thought. It was a shame he wasn't able to attack the one he really wanted to fight. He didn't really want to attack her; just the thing controlling her.

Skyla [Wake me up inside;;]
Skyla listened to his words. A vampire? The words ran through her mind as she looked up over toward Evelyn. She was still what was going on. Evelyn was a vampire? She didn’t seem like the type. She was kind, and all the vampires Skyla had heard about it were blood-thirsty killers. Wait. Someone took her over? Now she was really confused. “Wait, someone is taking over her body?” So, it wasn’t Evelyn who wanted to hurt them. It was some freak who wished. Skyla snorted as she shook her head, what a pathetic attempt, she was not afraid. She paused when Tescin told her not to use her power if they had to fight. Why would they have to fight? Skyla did not want that. “I know that…I..” her words were caught in her throat as she watched as he stepped ahead of her.
She wondered what he was thinking in his mind, but right when he stepped a few a steps, she understood, she wasn’t that naïve. She frowned; did he believe he had to protect her? Did he honestly believe that she was pathetic and couldn’t take care of herself? Or perhaps he wanted to defend her, because he would feel guilty if she got hurt? She did not care. She might have painful moments, but she had killed before. She had no time to say anything, because he began to ran after Evelyn and attempted to attack her. Skyla froze there for several seconds, her maw opened wide as she just stood there. Why was he attacking?
“Tescin! Stop it , don’t attack! It’s not Evelyn’s fault! You can hurt her if you attack! Stop!” Skyla ordered in a loud voice, a growl emitted from her throat. She was not mad at Tescin, but she wanted to make sure he understood her words, she was dead serious. Fighting should only be used as a last resort, not because whoever was in Evelyn’s body threatens to hurt her. They couldn’t harm their new friend. She just didn’t want it. She watched, waiting for Tescin to stop. If he attacked Evelyn who knew what could happen. Either he could end up hurting or worst, killing Evelyn or he could get hurt himself. She dug her claws into the ground and bit her tongue. She could only call out to him. Hopefully he will listen to her orders.

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
He looked at the wolf, a smirk on his head. Just a step closer... Just one more second and he'd be in the shade... Then he jumped back, gracefully landing on the ground before jumping again, his speed so that it was hard to see him. His image froze when he jumped, a evil, cruel laugh echoing in the air. "Leave him alone!" Evelyn cried, her mind racing. "He did nothing to you! Let him be!" The words echoed in her mind.
"You think I honestly care about that, Evelyn? I haven't taste wolf blood since the day I got inside your head. That blood wasn't so great, anyways!" He chuckled. Rage filled Evelyn. To the point that her body was shaking. Even though he had control of her body, her body was shaking from her rage. "Get out. Get out. GET OUT NOW!" Then something happened Evelyn thought never would. In mid-jump, she heard the cracking of something, and a very bright red glow. The voice closed her eyes, missing his chance to land, and fell on the ground with a 'thud'. However, when Evelyn's eyes opened again, she found herself with a sense of being hallow. She stood up, wincing as her shoulder cracked open, fresh blood spilling on her fur. She cursed silently, but the wound didn't heal. She didn't want it. She was already thirsty, if the wounds were healed, she would kill someone. Then her eyes fell on a limp white form beside her. She stared at it in puzzlement. What had happened? She looked down at her pendent, gasping. Both of the orbs had been cracked down the middle, the glowing in it dull. Her ears flicked against her head, jumping when a cruel voice filled the air.
"You broke the bond. You, of all wolves. You got me out of your mind, how interesting. It seems I made a mistake, took you too far."
She stared as the tall, white wolf stood up, his blood red eyes putting ice in her veins. Her limbs grew numb. "You..."
"Sweet, you are now a Purity. It seems next time I will have to leave the body just a bit sooner..."
Evelyn let out a fierce growl, lowering her body to the ground. "Next body? Who said you would make it out of this one?" She asked, her voice stone cold. It reflected his, but hers, was filled with hate. The same hate that warmed her veins, anger, revenge, and hate. All of those things. He was back into his own body, somehow. He had gotten his body back. Now she could finally take out what she couldn't all those years ago.
The two wolves circled one another, their silent footsteps adding to the effect. It was like both of them were ghosts. One wanted revenge, while the other wanted to destroy the creation that had failed miserably. Both had purpose. Both were Purity. One was going to die.
Evelyn jumped first, her speed matching the Voice's.
"I never told you my name did I? It's Devonte, Sweet."
"You call me 'sweet' one more time, and I will tear out your vocal cords." She snarled, his reply in laughter. The two snapped at one another, each dodging in just enough time. They jumped from log to log, tree trunk to tree trunk, stone to stone... But neither managed to make contact with the other. Just snapping at air.
If one had sat and watched the whole thing, and been able to see it, it would have been a beauty. Both were tall wolves, graceful, thin, and balanced. Neither missed their step.
Then a howl of pain echoed through the forest. Evelyn had attacked from a different approach, her teeth landing in his shoulder. She swung her body around, her paws hitting his side hard as the rolled in mid-air, his body hitting the ground first, and hard. Evelyn jumped away from him, watching as he stood up. His eyes had grown a shade darker as his thirst rose, Evelyn having a smirk fixed on her face. She looked over her shoulder, the sunlight glowing brightly as the day wore on. The alpha female was in the distance, along with the wolf that had attacked earlier. She was about to say something when she was thrown to the side, landing dangerously close to the sunlight. She looked up at Devonte, her eyes cold as he laughed. That laugh.. He laughed when he killed her parents. Evelyn twisted, ignoring the pain in her shoulder as she pushed him off of her, watching as her paws made contact, throwing him back, landing against a tree. She stood up slowly, limping slightly. Then he did something she never thought he'd do.
"Until next time, sweet." And then he ran.
She watched him twist around, maneuvering around the trees with effortless moments. She growled softly, but she couldn't chase after him. The wound in her shoulder had gotten deeper, thanks to him, digging his dirty claws in the wound.
She looked up, turning to the wolves in the clearing. "I'm sorry" She whispered. She was probably too far for them to hear her, but, she didn't know if she should stay and talk, or let them be and get something to eat. She bit her lip, looking from one to the other. She sighed then, lying down, clearly nursing her wounded shoulder. She bent her head, licking her wound softly. It stung, and the blood didn't help her at all, but it was better than letting it get infected. If the two wolves wanted to approach her, so be it. If they wanted to killed her, she was going to stop them only long enough for her to get her revenge on Devonte. After that, they could kill her. If they wanted to talk to her, or send her away, so be it. However, she was going to feed. She was going to sleep. She was going to chase down Devonte. And she was going to heal her wound. All before she left the lands. And that was that. The voice had gotten out of her head. It was hallow now, her thoughts her own. He was in his body again, and was running around somewhere. She would find him, and kill him the way he killed her family.[/sup]
-{ I dunno if I'll keep this in play, of just have it to where he escapes only in this role play... So I won't make a character bio for him until then, if that is alright ^^;
Summary: First of all. The white wolf is the one that killed Evelyn's family. He is the voice. His name, as given, is Devonte. He is a Purity, a vampire that can control their thirst unless they are on the brink of death. They often also have powers added onto their vampire selves. His, is putting his body into a inanimate objects {like Evelyn's necklace} and put a part of his body in it as well. When he leaves, his body comes with him and he is like new again.
Second of all, the whole reason he was with Evelyn was to turn her into a vampire, but not a Purity. He changed her blood structure and everything, and in doing so, he went a little too far. He should've left when her paw was burnt by the sunlight, but he wanted to taunt the others, so he, instead, turned Evelyn into a Purity.
Evelyn is now a purity, meaning, she can not go out into the sunlight and such unless that is her power. She can control what her blood heals now {Why her shoulder isn't healed, for most, like 90% of Purity's blood have healing properties.} and also some control over her need for blood. She still needs it, in fact, moreso than before, but she won't attack because she is a little dehydrated. She does not know her 'power', nor does she know if she even has one.
Evelyn is safe, for now. Safe as in, she probably won't snap at others if they approach her. Might. She might still, depending on if they try to attack her or not. She, herself, isn't safe, I wouldn't think, for the last time the two wolves saw her, she was under control of the other wolf, and threatening their lives. Not only that, but Devonte might not be gone ;p Devonte will strike again. Not now, well, maybe now, but he will come back sooner or later. And such.
Purities: Vampires of whom have only vampire blood in them. They can often turn other wolves into such if they have power of mind, or such. In which, the rewire the wolf's mind to change their blood structure to become a Purity. Purities have extreme speed, strength, and heighten senses. They can not go into the sun, at all. They are more prone to die from blood loss, since their body lives on it. Their own blood it toxic to them. Cutting off the head if fatal, along with biting of the jugular, and other major arteries. Even at night, a full moon can, and will hurt their eyes. Their blood may be toxic to normal wolves. They can die from natural causes.
They die like any normal wolf, plus they cannot go into the sunlight. If they do, even a slightest bit, that part of their body is burnt and will have to heal normally. If they are thrown out into it, they have three or so seconds to get back into the shade before their body combusts into flames, and they die. Even if they get into the shade, they are often immobile for a week or more, for their burns are serious. Fire, any, will kill them if it touches them. If they get the fire put out, then it might only be that limb or something they won't be able to use. They are immortal, but the longer they live, the more blood they need.
Susan, we need to get together and write a bio on vampire wolves sometime xD
Once again, I dunno if I will keep Evelyn like this. Feedback? I'm more than welcome to change stuffs ;p First time role playing anything like this, after all. }-
