It was as if his words fell on deaf ears, and it was this in itself he could not believe. How quickly they ran and gathered to protect each other and the “land” itself, when one, if none at all that he could see, even paused to consider and listen to the chaos that was brewing around them from their Siblings. His right ear twitched momentarily as another of the 'wind's' whispers filled his ears, His mumblings of lunacy causing the male to shudder, a low feeling growing the pit of his stomach; there was a disturbance that was to grow greater than the creatures causing this abnormal storm, he could feel it through his Brother's claims of madness and blind rage, though he knew what these strange things meant, attempting to decipher the coded message when he heard the voice of Audria call from behind him. He neither started nor turned back to look upon her with the strange eyes he held, only continued to sit upon his post, gaze lost and unfocused into nothing.Can you hear them? Delicious aren't they, fear spicing the soul-- QUELL THE MADNESS! SHE'LL KILL US ALL-- Feed upon them. Allow sleep in the cold dark-k-k-k... Though Audria's words reached him, his attention was elsewhere, consuming himself with the seemingly endless torment of his Siblings until he could take it no more, suddenly snapping at the air in front of him with anything less of a savage snarl, quieting Them in their endless mutterings. “Yes, I Hear you. But o' the pain, and naught to quench other than a confused mind...” At this he turned his head around to half-face Audra as she stood behind him, eyes wide, betraying the chaos that surrounded his senses. “It is not the storms, but the water itself that is our Sister, and she cries... o' how she cries!” His expression changed to sudden desperation as he whined his plea, such nervous spasms never before present in such pale blue eyes as he whipped around quickly to near himself to her, colorless fur almost blending too perfectly into the fog around them. “The creatures that bring pain to Them, carrying this plague of Deaf and Blindness upon their shoulders as wings towards damnation, are unseen, but they can be heard!” How distinctly desperate he was at this point for her to learn to grow past her disease and Hear her Siblings around her, for it seemed to him the only way to survive this sudden attack upon their Mother, the very land itself. “You must listen to me! Cast away your ears that have become attuned to the shell of materialism and embrace Their voice, listen beyond the wind and water...for Brother has grown for the taste of blood...” He trailed into a low whisper, gazing as deeply as he could into her gray eyes before averting them into the thick fog ahead of them, body lowering itself close to the hard ground whilst fog-illuminated eyes watched ahead of him, ears twitching this way and that. “Creatures come to cause madness...but what are we but cannon fodder to a greater threat...”

KasiaThe flame that will never go out Cold, wet, rainy; yes, it was just the perfect weather for Kasia. No, just kidding, she hated rain. Mostly because she was a wolf of fire, created by the god of fire. She would do anything to please him. She also craved power, thirsted for it. She was evil, obviously. So this was the best pack for her. and even better, she was beta. She wanted to be alphess for two reasons. One- It's a powerful position. It demanded attention from all, and thats what she wanted. Of course, she always got attention because of her looks. She was beautiful, no one could deny that. She had gold fur with fire markings covering her, with large gold flaming wings to her sides. The water didn't affect her flaming wings too badly, but it did sting some. she used her looks to her advantage, she liked getting what she wanted. But there was another reason she wanted the position of alphess. Tero was really attractive. She would flirt with him more than she did with her mate. She adored him, and would please him however she could; unless it displeased the sun god. But she absolutely loved Tero, the second reason for joining the pack. But for some reason he wouldn't take a mate...
Kasia rolled her eyes and got back to the present. It was raining for a reason. The pack had traveled for a reason. Their addreneline was sky high for a reason. War. They were going to fight the Nozomi pack. Who wouldn't want to? Nice territory, with an interesting history. Kasia smiled. She was bloodthirsty with power. Kasia glanced at her alpha, who had left a wolf unconscious just moments ago. She sighed lovingly. For some reason, she found that attractive. She shook her head and crawled towards Kainam, her "mate." They weren't the best of mates though. You could say they loved each other, but not much. She wanted power, she thought Kainam was cool, but not so much the mate type. He flirted with most females. She flirted with most males. But they accepted each other, and the role of beta.
Kasia reached Kainam quickly, making no sound. She was so close to the alphess of the other pack. She growled so softly even she couldn't hear. "Kainam, when do we attack. Sitting around is oh so boring..." She complained. She wanted them dead. Who doesn't love a fight? TescinBee more like a wolf As the boom of the thunder clashed through the sky, the young bee-like wolf whimpered and shivered in the small cave he was sitting in. He loathed rain. He was, infact, part insect. Bugs aren't that fond of the wet. He shivered. The rain was supernatural. He barely tolerates normal rain; but this rain was impossible. He opened his eyes and looked out into the thick, dense fog. He frowned and barked in a scared tone when another boom of thunder echoed through the cave. He closed his eyes tight. You are such a wimp Tescin! Get a grip! It's just rain! He yelled at himself. But it's not even me that's scared. It's the Bee part of me. I didn't even want that. I could be much more brave if I wasn't part bee. this is all the humans' fault!! He growled. I can't let them win. I have to be brave and face this. I know what ever is making this rain is bad. He thought and stood.
He took several deep breaths. He could do this. He just had to get over the fact that he'd never be a full wolf. If he just got over his hate for himself he'd be a much better wolf. He looked out into the fog again. He heard an ominous howl. It was not of his pack. His heart raced. "Intruders..?! I have to see if everyone is alright." He said aloud. His heart beat even faster. I hope Skyla's ok.. He thought. As he was cowering in the cave he had time to think. He realized how much of a crush he had on his alphess. He was foolish; she'd never go for a wolf like him. He wasn't the strongest or most powerful of wolves. She'd want someone who could protect others he was sure. But he'll always want her to be safe. If he can't be with her on a romantic level, he'd at least try to be her friend. The best friend she could have.
Tescin summed up all his courage and dashed out into the fog. He could barely sniff out the other wolves. But he concentrated, and focused on one scent. He'd recognize it anywhere. He smiled. He trusted Skyla. Her courage would surely affect the whole pack. He ran faster and skidded to a stop when he saw other wolves. He didn't know many of them, but he knew he was with the Nozomi wolves. He looked around, then he saw her. He smiled feintly, still unsure about what was going on, but was happy at least to see Skyla. He walked slowly towards her. "Hey Skyla... Is everyone ok?" He asked, concerned for everyone. *Chihiro~Everyone Pleased? The Yuurie Dao wolf went dashing as soon as the rain started. She had just found the lands; she was brand new. She knew no one except for one person. She knew that one wolf would be here. She wasn't sure if the wolf knew she was coming. But the surprise would have to wait. Chihiro knew something was up, and it was not good. The rain was unnatural, and so was the fog. She ran as fast as she could to the area where the the storm was coming from. She had been upset lately, something that happened to her often. But she needed her sister. It had been so long...
Chihiro jumpen over a log as she made her way even faster to Suicide Cliff. She stopped quickly when a sharp pain reached her head. It was dark magic, and a lot of it. "Yjod Vsmy Nr Hppf..." She whispered in the Yuurie Dao language. The started running again. A familiar scent came into her nostrils. Annika! She thought excitedly, and with that, ran up next to her. She acted natural. "Ejsyd Hpomh Pm?" She asked her sister calmly. No other wolf would know what she asked, but Annika would surely be happy that Chihiro was there. Chihiro shuddered at the dark magic that was all around them. "Should I use my sheild?" She asked aloud, asking herself more than her sister, but she'd want a responce from her regardless.
She looked around. Nothing but fog. She could make out the figures of other wolves. She saw a small pale colored wolf. Something about her seemed full of power; she must be the alphess. She saw a bee-like wolf run past her and greet this pale wolf. She saw numerous others, none she knew of course. She had a feeling there would be war soon. she would fight, for she wanted this to be her new home. She wouldn't let it fall.

Audria I look into myself, To find my own heart has been changed
Audria flinched from his reaction, even going as far to take a step back, away from him. Her ears flattened against her head, her mind telling her to run away as fast as she could not only to get away from this wolf, but the area. Her instincts told her to run, and never to stop. But she had to figure out why this wolf was so intent on her to 'open her eyes'. "Well, sorry for not knowing something I hadn't learned." She snapped, instantly regretting it. But, she had no time to worry about that. A sudden, small flare of anger came forth, and with it, a torrent of other emotions burst forward. When Audria was about to continue on, she gasped instead, closing her eyes as she shook her head and backed up several steps. A sudden pressure came at her from all sides, crushing her. She couldn't breathe, and she could feel the ground under her paws trembling. Wait- maybe she was just shaking so hard... The free thought was taken over quickly enough, causing her to gasp once more. Anger, that was the most reoccurring feeling. It burned red-hot against her eyelids, her eyes watching the colors each emotion was painted in for her. The next was the green lashes of confusion, swirling with the red so closely she thought they would touch, and then send a new jolt down her spine. But they never did. Audria's head swarmed, and though she didn't know it, she had fallen to her side. Her body shook violently, her ears still pinned against her head. Her eyes were still closed, but under her eyelids, her gray eyes were glazed over.
Audria did know that she was in danger though. She could already see the dark slipping through the vibrant colors that danced on her eyelids, then charged at her. She had to get this under control. Now. Otherwise she would black out. She always did when it came down to it, but that didn't mean she couldn't at least try to overcome it this time. She tried to straighten out the colors, as she always did. It had never worked before, and it failed once again. But the howl followed by the thunder that was followed by rain caused her to start. She jolted up, opening her eyes and putting out a paw to sturdy herself. Her eyes focused on the sky, watching as the dark, rolling clouds moved over their heads. Audria was just about to comment on how the sky had changed somehow when another wave of emotions took her over, her eyes glazing over once more. However, this time she managed to stay sitting up a bit, her eyes locked on the sky. Inside her mind, Audria was doing all she could to get those cursed emotions back behind their barriers.

Kainam twisted his head around as he heard his mate, Kasia, speak to him. He had to admit that Kasia was beautiful compared to other females, but he didn’t love her attitude. He didn’t like a female to be so conceited. He didn’t like females like that. Yeah, she was his mate, and they were an alright pair, they acted the part of Betas and mates, but truthfully he really didn’t care. He turned his attention back to the Alphess. Now, she was someone he liked. Someone who didn’t know she was beautiful. He liked that in females. The shy type, not those who knew they were beautiful. He snorted as he shook his head. “Calm down, Kasia. I’ll be soon. That’s all I know.” He had to wait for the signal, even if he really didn’t want too. He wanted to lash out now, but they’ve been planning for a while now. Everything was set. He turned his head back over to Kasia, before turning his head back to the Alphess, who was not too far away from him. It was an odd feeling, really. Part of him wanted to lash out of her, but he couldn’t help, but be attractive to her.
He turned his head when he heard Iyio’s voice. A smile flickered across his maw when she said that it was time to attack. “Finally, and tell Tero, I’ll be there soon.” He stated. He wondered what could have changed. He knew it was not best to question, Tero. Although he didn’t like him, he did respect him. He turned his gaze back over to Kasia. He knew how she felt about Tero, even if she had never told him. He wasn’t stupid, he saw the way she looked at him, the way she hung to his every word, the way she hung around him whenever she had the change. Kainam shook his head, it was so obvious, it was pathetic. “Well, you heard her, Kasia. We get to attack now.” And after waiting for almost an hour, Kainam raised his maw to the air letting out a long howl that echoed across the land. the howl was to tell the other pack members that they were ready to attack – and told the Nozomi Pack of their existence. “Show time.” He said as he pounced forward. He knew who his first target was. The Alphess would never see it coming as he came through the fog – and heading right for her.
Ayla heard her brother’s howl. She turned her head and looked at Tero. So, the battle was finally begun. After all their time planning, they actually get to attack. A smile tugged across her maw. This was the moment she been waiting for. To show everyone she was not a pathetic female. She would fight until the end. Unlike her pathetic brother she got a thrill from fighting that couldn’t compare to anything else. Why he spent most of his time checking out other females behind (and right in front of) his mate. She spent her time practicing, fighting, shedding blood. That is what she was born to do, and that is what she would die doing. She began to make her way through the fog, which began to clear up. For they did not need to hide themselves no longer, after all. They wanted to be scene, for the battle was on. She made her way over to where her twin brother and Kasia were. “Hmm, I’m so ready for this.” She said with a laugh as she dug her claws into the ground. She ran her tongue across her dry fangs which were stained with blood from all those she had killed. “Let’s get going.” She said as she leapt into the air – ready to attack the first wolf she landed on. Her claws were out and her teeth were bared. She was ready for anything.
Skyla turned her head when she saw Tescin. She tilted her head to the side, did he not know? She turned away from him and looked around. It seemed about half the pack was gathered to the scene. She had been waiting for what seemed to be close to an hour, perhaps more, and yet nothing. She knew there had to be something, or someone, here, but what? She finally turned her gaze back over to Tescin. “Hmm, oh, Tescin, no nothing is okay. Someone here is going to attack, but I’m not quite sure who it is.” She said with a frown, pinning her ears back upon her head. She was glad to see her friend here though, and yet she wasn’t. She didn’t want him to get hurt. Now was her chance to prove to both him and everyone else that she was not pathetic. She might have had her weak moments, but she had fought before, she was no weakling to hat. She will protect her pack at all cost. No matter what. She turned her head back over to Tescin. “Perhaps you should leave I don’t want you to g-“ her words were caught in her throat though when she heard the howl. Her ears perked up and she looked all around, but saw no one. “They’re coming!” She called to everyone. In response to the howl she raised her own head and began to howl, but then suddenly she was knocked to the ground, hitting her head against the ground.
She opened her eyes and saw a black and red female knowing at her fur, digging his claws into the ground, mumbling words that she didn’t quite understand. She hissed as she felt the blood run down her white coat. She pushed him forward, causing him to let go of her releasing her from the ground. She pushed herself up from the ground and pressed herself closer to the ground. She bared her teeth and growled. “So, you finally decide to show yourself! Well, I will not go easy on you!” She growled, as she claws clicked upon the hard stone of the Cliff. This was the one that had been stalking them? was this it? or was there more? She knew this was the wolf who let out the howl, but she was not sure whether or not there was a pack or if he was just one foolish lone wolf who wanted to take her place. Whatever the case, she wasn’t going to let it happen. So long as she was alive.
Annika couldn’t help but blush some when Kratos said that. “Thanks,” she said with a warm smile, her long tail trailing behind her. “Hmm, I’m sure glad we have a God on our side though.” She said with a nod of her head. She was glad to have her new friend here, for she knew he was immortal, and could not be defeated. She could be, but this was not the time to be thinking about that. This was the time for her to conserve her energy. She would fight if she had to, but only as a last resort. Not because she was scared of losing, only because she wanted to keep her strength. She was one of the only wolves who could heal wounds, to a large degree. She knew there would be plenty of wounds and she needed to keep her strength up so she could heal them all. That was her main job, to make sure that every Nozomi wolf got out of this alive, even though she knew that was a pretty big thing to hope for. She took a deep breath. She couldn’t help, but be worried though. A war never turned out good. Even if they won, they’re would be loses. Neither side can win. Wars were impossible to win, how can you win something, when you also loose? It never did make sense to her.
Annika spun around when she heard a voice. It was not just that this voice sounded very familiar, it was that the voice spoke Annika’s own language. Annika gasped when she saw who it was. “Dodyrt! Sister! You’re here! I cannot believe it!” Annika was over thrilled to see her younger sister. Annika and Chihrio had been really close when they were younger, spending their youth days with their mother. Annika was almost afraid they would never see each other again, though deep within her heart, she longed it. “You’ve come here at bad time, my dear Dodyrt. A war shall soon happen upon this land, though I’m not sure why.” She said with a frown looking around the area. Why was it that the evil aroma was getting bigger and bigger? She smiled softly at her sister. “You can try.” She said before she turned her gaze back over to Kratos. “Oh, very rude of me, Kratos, this is my Dodyrt, I mean my sister, and I’ve told you about her before. Cichiro this is my good friend, Kratos.” She said introducing them. it wasn’t long after that when she heard the howl. She tilted her head up in the air. “It’s begun.” She whispered, with a frown. She had hoped they had more time to prepare. That was another thing about war. You could never plan it, because nothing went the way you planned it.

K.ratos
Sleep well, my love ~ "Really?" Kratos barked a laugh, though it was an inconvienent time to laugh, and shook his head. "I wouldn't be," he spoke, raising his voice slightly as thunder rumbled across the sky above. "I can put them all to sleep, but what's so wonderful about that?" He fell silent after his words were spoken as he recalled the final power he had, a power that would put one to rest for eternity. One memory that stood out from the rest played before his very eyes, blocking out everything around him. The sound of his beating heart was the only thing he heard, tuning out even the loudest cracks of thunder that echoed across the land. A familiar wolf walked across his line of vision in his memory, and though she was only a mere image in his memory, she seemed realistic enough to him; it was almost like she was there. "Ella...," he breathed, his green eyes glazed over with a far away look. Her pristine image was swiped away then, replaced with the one of her after he had used his power, something that was completely accidental. His heart hammered on in his chest and his knees trembled slightly, but he wouldn't allow himself to break down in front of everyone. Not here, not now. Someone was speaking, though not to him. His memory disappeared and the packlands and wolves were in front of him once again, the rumbles of thunder reached his ears once more and the rain continued to pelt him like bullets. He blinked rapidly for a moment in an effort to shake himself from his current state of mind. His eyes found Annika and another wolf, one that looked somewhat like her; was this the sister she had told him about before? His question was answered before he had to ask and he smiled slightly, though it was forced. "Pleasure to meet you," he replied smoothly, showing no signs of what he was feeling just moments ago. "I just wish we were meeting under better circumstances, y'know?" He chucked quietly and turned his gaze out toward the distance and muttered something quietly under his breath, unprepared and unready for what was to come. But he would do the best he could.[/blockquote]

Evelyn; Let the Flames Begin
When Evelyn woke up, she could've sworn she had dreamed the entire thing. The whole fact of meeting Skyla and her friend in the field, loosing control when Devonte came loose, the fight after it, the hunt and kill, coming to the cliff to find Skyla once again, charging after the flying wolf, landing hard on her side, waking up in a weird place, the fight with the alpha, and then blacking out. When she opened her eyes to find that she could hardly see through blurred vision, she knew it was nothing but the truth. Pain raked its claws down her sides, causing her to silently cry out. Even a Purity felt pain, she guessed. She blinked several times, breathing coming in ragged breaths as she fought to keep herself under control. When her vision managed to clear up, she noticed everything was tinged red, her throat craving the warm liquid her body needed to live.
She was surprised to see no one in the clearing, no one. She lifted her head, whimpering at the pain the movement caused. She glanced around, shifting so she laid down on her stomach instead on her side, elbows and forearms keeping her balanced. No one was here. Evelyn was confused, could she go walk out?
Then she jumped as something hard hit the ground next to her. The action sent a new, hot streak of pain through her body, causing her to whimper once more. Evelyn's head spun, but she looked at what had fallen beside her. Her eyes widened when she found it to be a deer, which had been killed without spilling any blood-from what she could smell anyway. Then her eyes traveled to the alpha, the male she had fought. His eyes tore into her injured mind, for once making her feel weak. If he killed her with the same way he killed this deer, then she was gone. She would never be able to finish her revenge. No. She wouldn't allow it. Never. "Eat it." Evelyn jumped at his voice, never expecting those words. "I don't want you to die here. I still have some use of you."
Evelyn's eyes narrowed, her ears folding against her head as her upper lip twitched pulling back into a snarl. The male just looked at her, with such calm she thought maybe she had mistaken him for the alpha male of the pack, then something sparked in his eyes, and she felt what blood was left in her system turn cold. He stepped forward, and surprisingly, Evelyn's body instinctively shrank back, not wanting him to touch her. Then his teeth flashed and the smell of blood washed over her. Confused, Evelyn's vision turned a bright red, her heart pounding as her eyes flicked to the deer. He had tore it open. Why? As she tore her gaze away from the sight, she watched him walk away. She knew. He didn't want her full strength to return. No, he wanted her strong enough just to get somewhere. Well enough that she wouldn't be able to fight back. But he did want her to starve, for then her strength would be amplified for a short time as she lost control. Her body's instincts taking over, and killing all she could.
Evelyn watched him, glaring as he talked with one of his pack members. Did he know how predictable he was? How someone who drank blood for a living, could get into his mind so easily? She bet not. Then a fresh wave scent washed over her. Blood. The war had begun, and she was here, helpless.
Evelyn struggled to her paws, holding her frame as tall as she could without collapsing from the pain, took a few steps forward, and quenched her thirst. If she was ever to get out of this place, she would need her full strength. If she was ever to help anyone, she needed to get out of this place. She glanced at the male as he watched her, chuckling inside. He had no idea what he was getting himself into.
Iyio Thou shalt not be betrayed under my gaze
Iyio watched as the chaos broke free, frozen in spot. She wasn't afraid, no. She was in awe from the strategy that her own pack was using. She could see them now, she could see them as they blocked off the only escape route, snickering and snapping at the wolves held trapped against the cliff's edge. Movement at the very edge of the cliff drew away her attention to the wall forming at the base of it, her gaze following as the beta attacked the alpha female. Iyio pinned her ears against her head, growling softly. The Leader would not like this. Didn't he want the alpha female to himself? Maybe that was before the attack was changed. Why did that female have to interfere with the first movement? Iyio sighed, taking off. Either way, she had to get reports from the other patrol leaders, and then get back to their Leader. He would want a report, and soon.
Nyvi && Aiya;; Two parts of one heart
Aiya looked at the line of wolves, her heart sinking. "There are so many..." She whispered, taking a step back. The good thing was, at least, there was plenty of water around. Aiya turned to her brother, watching as several different emotions crossed his face. Turning back to the fight, she nodded slowly. "We'll have to go through them, you know. Our chances of leaving unscathed are little to none." She added. Even as she spoke, she started forward. Within taking a few steps, she heard her brother follow. Aiya chuckled. This was going to be an interesting experience... The two padded up to the very back of the line, watching as the wolves squirmed, waiting to get their feel of flesh and blood. She let out a short growl, gaining the closet wolves' attentions. "Excuse me, sirs, but we need to get on the other side. If you would be as kind as to let us pass..." She started, dipping her head slightly, closing her eyes as she did so. She opened her eyes when the wolves in front of her started laughing, watching as their sides shook. This action gained the attention of the surrounding wolves, which, in turn, caused several more eyes on her and her brother. Aiya stood without fear, instead sweeping her gaze over the crowd. She looked over to her brother, who only stared at the other wolves with a bored expression. "I think they will not allow us to pass...." She muttered, sighing. "I guess our training gets to come into effect." Turning back to the wolves, which had now surrounded them, she simply shook her head. The sound of wings turning to her brother who had opened his wings a bit.

Name: Etta Whisperwind Font HEX/color: lightgreen
Etta All dreams are a reality;;
The rain seemed to awaken and rejuvenate her body like the spattering water was some sort of life-giving God. Bruises were nothing, hunger was naught, for all that was present was the everlasting storm that wet her with its tears. She had made if o'er the deadly cliff and into new lands, but what kind of fate these lands held for her was yet to be seen. Perhaps she should have payed more attention to the God of Fate when he had lifted her eyes to him. Instead Etta lifted her head to the sky and let the water pour over her and wash away the tears and blood that grimed and matted her gray fur. The rain of renewal kissed her wounds like a stinging bath of ice pelting her like rocks. She shivered and cried piously, but she knew it would do no good. Nobody would be able to hear her in the pounding rain and she wasn't even sure there were any wolves in these strange new lands. She might as well be alone.
Etta tasted a plant and spit it out when she found it bitter and inedible. Alas, it wouldn't do for her to stay on at a place with so little animal food and vegetation, so she would have to move on to a different and populated place. Who knew what strange creatures she might find! Her big puppy paws padded softly on the ground, carrying along over the rubble and sparse plants that littered the ground. What was that? Etta slowed and lifted her ears to listen to the air, but heard nothing. She could have sworn that she had heard something!
She lowered her black nose to the ground, where it quivered for a minute before she pulled her head back up. There were definately wolves here, but they had such a strange smell! She had grown used to the smell of the sea and the smell of the wolves that lay long Forgotten in a grapple for their lives. The huge puppy's tongue lolled in her excitement and she was about to follow the scent when a howl pierced the static air.
Etta's muscles tensed, for she recognized the call for attack that haunted her young, not-quite-so-innocent mind. A call for attack and war, a call that required war and bloodshed. Why? Why was her nightmare returning to haunt her yet again? Gods, help me! she thought, tears lost in the rain. Pictures of blood and death flashed before her eyes, and she shuddered and whined. What should she do?! She could run and hide like her father had, or she could go and find someone so that there was a chance she would be safe. What if she got attacked, though? She was big enough to be classified as an adult wolf, except that she had really big, puppyish paws.
No, she had to be safe! Etta cried out softly and loped towards tha smell of the strange wolves. Soon she came in view of a few wolves that didn't look all too menacing and cautiously approached a female she didn't know, blinking her pupiless evergreen eyes. "Jraap!" she said softly, hoping she would hear. "Jraap, O mrrf jraq!"

Annika turned her head when the fighting had started, a frown upon her maw. This was terrible, what were they doing to do? She saw as her Alphess was attacked, but there was nothing she could do to help her. She knew this was something Skyla needed to do on her own. Annika turned and looked over to Kratos, nodding to his words. Yes, if only they were somewhere else, though she was overjoyed to see her sister again. Part of her really missed her sister and seeing her brought light in this blacken area. Annika ears perked when she heard a sound. A familiar sound. The words were foreign to others, but brought back memories of her childhood rushing through her mind. When she was younger her mother only used the language, English was her second language, which she learned several years later. She twisted her head around when she spotted the wolfess who had spoken to her. Annika tilted her head, her antennas upon her head falling into her royal blue eyes. It was quite rare to find an un Yuurie-Dao wolf to speak their language, but of course, it wasn’t impossible. “Ejsy, od yjsy upi mrrf jrap qurg?" (what, is that you need help with?) Annika said the words flowed from her mouth much easier then English did. She had a feeling this wolf probably did not speak English. She was lucky. The language was known a long time ago, but had long been forgotten by most wolves other then Yuurie-Dao’s, however there were groups of wolves scattered upon the world that held upon the old language. Annika smiled, she was glad that the language was living outside of her race. she shifted her weight, her long tail swiping upon the ground, waiting for the wolf to answer her.

Etta All dreams are a reality;;
Etta nervously swayed and looked away from the awful fighting that reminded her of where she came from and what she had lost. She still couldn't quite understand why these older wolves had to fight so much and so often. Was the bloodshed well worth the land they gained? Was a blood prize worth the death of innocents like her brother? Abruptly she saw his face again sinking into the depths of the ocean with a terrified expression on his face, and she shuddered in response. There was no time for her to think of that or be afraid! She had to be strong for her mother, father, and her brother. Her ears pricked when the female spoke in her native language. What a relief it was to hear someone speak so familiarly! Etta looked upon the friendly face with round, anxious eyes and spoke very quickly. "Qarsdr, O sz mreau vpzr yp yjod qasvr! Eoaa upi yraa zr ejsy oy od yjsy od hpomh pm?" (Please, I am newly come to this place! Will you tell me what it is that is going on?) The end of her tail twitched in a short, reassuring wag. Lots of questions chased each other through her mind. Who were those wolves and why were they attacking? Who were the wolves she was amongst and why were they being attacked? Why was there war, anyways?
Etta watched a female being attacked by a wolf that was very quick to get into the battle. She didn't know who was good and who was bad, but her heart was with the female that was being attacked. It reminded her of when her mother had been slaughtered like a lamb in front of their den. Her zpyjrt had been the one to dig out that den in the first place so that they could have a warm place to sleep. Then there was her father! Her father had stood watch all of those long, lonely nights just so that the rest of them could sleep and their mother could watch over them during the day. How brave they had both been! She silently smiled at the female that had spoken to her, holding back her tears for a later time.

((Sorry it took so long for me to post. ^^; ) KasiaThe flame that will never go out The moment we come alive. Finally.
Kasia grinned evily as she looked out from behind the bush. Who deserves it. Who won't see it coming...? she asked herself. She looked and saw a strange yellow and black wolf. What was wrong with him? He looked awfully scared, but an easy target; she could squish him like a bug. She didn't want an easy target. She wanted a challenge. She glanced over the wolves, and spotted her target. The female wolf looked pure, blue and white with antennae on her head and ribbons around her tail. She was a Gardian wolf. A yuurie Dao. She smiled with a dark arora around her. Kasia slowly moved from behind the bush. She came up behind the wolf, who most knew as Annika. It would be surprising if anyone knew she was there.
She darted back to the bush. She had the scent she needed. Kasia's power was to shape shift, and that could come in handy right now. She shifted into a poor defenceless wolf pup. One that would need help getting out of danger. One that would appeal to a Yuurie Dao wolf. She whimpered and limped out from the bush over towards Annika. She came and lightly grasped a ribbon that flowed from Annika's tail, grasped it in a way that made her look adorable, and helpless and afraid. She wimpered. Might as well yuck it up. she thought. She made a big puppy dog face. One that said, "help me..." She glanced to another wolf. One that looked similar to Annika. Chihiro. Their eyes met. She heard a growl from Chihiro. Shit, did she see me change? she asked herself and crawled under Annika; hid between her legs. She tried to look up at Annika's face. "Please help me. I'm scared!" She wimpered. She started shaking, like a defenceless pup would. "This is too good." She thought.
*Chihiro~Everyone Pleased? Chihiro concentrated and put up a special sheild. She put it around all the Nozomi wolves. She knew which wolves were of Nozomi lands. They all had the same feeling for their lands; they all had a duty to protect it. She looked at Kratos. "I understand. But we can't choose these sort of things. Still, it's a pleasure meeting you." she said with a faint smile. She was a master at using her sheild. So it didn't take as much concentration as it used to. She was the only one, however, that could actually see the sheild. She wrapped it around all the nozomi wolves. She winced. Oh how she wished this sheild blocked physical attacks. But no, only mind attacks. If it blocked physical attacks, everyone would be much safer; for that seems to be all the enemy wolves were using.
Then she saw something strange. She was beside her sister. She turned to her, and as she did she saw a glimse of something jolt from behind her. She looked behind her, to the left then to the right, and saw nothing. What was that? She asked herself. "Lrrq pm upit yprd Annika. (Keep on your toes.) I think we are being targeted... But I can't be sure. It's just a feeling." She told her sister. But when she looked at her sister, Annika was talking to another wolf. A non-Yuurie Dao that knew the language. She was surprised, but kept her concentration. Just then a small wolf pup crawled by Annika. Chihiro frowned. What is a wolf pup doing here? She thought and stared at the pup. It looked back.
Chihiro got chills when that pup looked at her. The pup looked concerned and innocent, but there was something that wasn't right. Why would a pup be here? What mother would leave it alone. Unless the mother was killed by the evil pack. Chihiro frowned. This can't be a good thing. Little did Chihiro know that it was worse than what she could think. The pup was using Annika's distraction to get closer to her so she could attack. But Chihiro would never think a pup like that would be working for Tero's pack.

((Go here www.freewebs.com/nozomiwolves/yuurie-dao.htm to find the translator for the Yuurie-Dao language (and the forgotten language) it’s different then before, but it will make things MUCH easier from now on –nods- yup yup ))
Annika twisted her head and looked at her sister. There was someone near by? Oh yeah, she could sense it. “Don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll be fine…” though she wasn’t sure. She actually had a bad feeling. She turned her head back to the young pup who had spoken to her earlier. Turning her back to her sister. She wasn’t trying to be rude, but her helpful instincts kicked in and she had to help this poor dear, she felt bad for her, she was in a place she did not know and was lucky enough to find someone who could speak her own language. Perhaps in the end, she should have paid closer attention to her sister’s warning, but in the end, Annika did not. She smiled softly at the young pup. “Zvc tykqrg vsp vznwt tn yvuupq, tynwry K'a qnt gwsp eyi.” Annika said, she didn’t want to scare the poor pup, but she couldn’t necessary lie to her, because it was dangerous. “Gtvi ohngp tn ap, K ekhh usntpot inw..” Annika said, after all she couldn't just leave her all alone, even more so when a war was about to happen, her tongue followed easily, she still couldn’t believe that someone other then Yuurie-Dao wolves knew the language. Well, there were the Ryazarous, the demon wolves, but she didn’t like to count them.
Annika froze when she felt a tug upon her ribbon that was wrapped around her tail. She twisted her head around and saw another pup. She tilted her head to the side, this seemed…really odd. “Hello, there.” She said as she lowered her head toward the pup. It was hard to feel the strong bad aroma clinging tightly to the pup’s body because the air was filled with it that Annika was unable to detect anything wrong with the pup, but damn she should have known. “Do you need help with something?” she said with a smile. Though something seemed off, but she wasn’t quite sure what it was. She paused; a shiver ran down her spine. That only happened when the Gods that cursed her was near, what were they doing here? She grind her teeth together, but she pushed the thought out of her head as she turned back to the poor wolf, waiting for her to answer, oblivious for what is about to come.

Etta All dreams are a reality;;
Etta waited patiently for the stranger to answer while the older wolves spoke in undertones. When the other female seemed worried and the one she spoke to reacted, Etta glanced around nervously to look for the source of their worry. All she saw was a puppy that looked younger than her and spoke in a different language. Why would adults allow a puppy to wander into a potential battlefield? She wanted to investigate further, but Annika's voice speaking to her distracted Etta from the little thing. Her tail swung back and forth at her words, and she replied very enthusiastically, "Ny, tyvqx inw! Zwt... inw enq't rpt ywst ekhh inw?" Her tail slowed and she tilted her head to the side worriedly. "K cn qnt ekgy lns inw tn zp ywst." Why did they seem so worried? She saw it in the tilt of their ears and their watchfulness, recognized it from a younger time. She almost wanted to look over her shoulder to make sure nobody was trying to sneak up on them from behind.
When the puppy spoke again, she leaned down to get a better look and smell of her. Who was she and what was she doing there? She was too small to be in the middle of all of this fighting and might get trampled. Etta almost wanted to pick her up and run, but refrained out of manners and simply smelled her. Something smelled so awful about the pup that she couldn't help but jerk her head back and wrinkled her nose. "Gyp gaphhg hkxp lksp," she said, puzzled. It was the one scent that she could identify out of other scents that she couldn't quite identify. Some of them brought back horrible memories, but she had no idea why the puppy would trigger so many of the things she didn't want to remember. One other question plagued her mind like a rat. Why did she smell like fire in the middle of a rainstorm? Wouldn't the rain wash away the smell of fire from her like it had washed away the scent of brine and blood from herself? She wasn't suspicious or anything, but it just seemed really odd. "Inw gynwhcq't zp ypsp! Inw onwhc rpt ywst!" she exclaimed. It didn't occur to her that the pup wouldn't be able to understand anything that she said. Etta wasn't concerned about that because she just wanted the puppy to be somewhere safe where she couldn't be hurt. She held her breath and leaned down to nudge the puppy with her nose, trying to get her point across.

Skyla pushed herself up from the ground, taking deep breaths. Her pelt was now mattered with blood, both from her and from Kainam where he attacked. She wasn’t about to let him win. She turned her head around and walked as other wolves began to attack. Damn. She thought to herself. She should have told them to leave, but would they listen? She didn’t want to see anyone hurt, but she couldn’t defend her land by herself, she needed help. She took deep jagged breaths; it felt as someone just punched her in her stomach, cutting off all her air supply. She would keep fighting though, as long as she was able too. “Your…not going…to…win, Kainam!” She growled, forcing out each word with another deep breath. She felt numb, her natural pain reliever working in, but she knew it wouldn’t last forever. Soon she would feel the pain, hit her like a ton of bricks. She pinned her ears back upon her head, narrowing her eyes down to slits. She lowered her body, was about to attack again, when she paused when she heard Kainam speak. She tilted her head up at him, unable to believe his words. She relaxed a bit, but she didn’t know if this was some kind of trick. Why would he just go and say that?
“Stop? Why do you want that? I will not be fall for any of your tricks!” She cursed at him. No, whatever he dares try to tell her is all lies. He is the one that had been watching her, and now he had attacked her. Why should she believe him? She was many things, but she was not an idiot who believed in everything that someone told her, at least not now anyway. She took a deep breath; her breathing began to get stable once more. “What are you planning?” she demanded to know, though she doubted he would tell her.
Kainam looked at the Alphess, lust flashing in his eyes whenever he glanced at her. Even though she had blood upon her fur, she still looked pretty. A smile spread across his maw as he stood up to full form. Watching as she got ready to attack him once again. No, no more fighting was needed. There would be no fun if he killed her right away. They needed the whole pack to be weakened before she died, anyway, he couldn’t bring himself to kill her just yet. “Stop it, that is enough for today. I will not attack.” He told in a calm voice. He was not surprised by his words, why should she trust him? After all he kind of was stalking her and he attacked her. Kainam snorted to himself, he wasn’t quite sure what he was doing himself. Wait, he was following Tero’s orders. He had ordered him to kill the Alphess, but he never said he had to kill her right away. He didn’t like to kill things he liked, but if he had too, he would wait as long as he possibly could.
“I’m not planning anything.” He said with a shrug of his shoulders, as he began to turn away. He was pretty beat up himself; for she was much stronger then he believed she was. He did not speak more as he turned around and left her alone there. He went in the shadows. The first round had began and he knew it was time for him to talk to Tero. He made his way through the fog until he came upon the leader. He lowered his head. “You wish to speak to me, sir?” He said lifting his head slightly, making sure to lower his body statue. Although part of im did detest bowing to anyone.
Annika turned to the pup, smiling at her. So, she was worried about Annika? Annika had her share of battles, even more so when she was left powerless for a hundred years. Forced to walk the earth like a mortal wolf. It was a life she never wanted to live again. Of course she did not see the dangers that lurked again, and it was not just from the pup that was just pretending to be cute. For within the shadows were dark figures watching her. For they were the Gods that had cursed her, they were not able to be seen by anyone, except for her and perhaps Kratos since after all he was a God and Annika didn’t realize they were so close by. She had sensed them on and of for the last hundred years, but she not once actually seen them. Of course if she did see them, she knew it could only mean one thing…” Cn qnt enssi vznwt ap, hktthp nqp.” Annika said softly to the pup. She thought it was cute. She then turned her head back to the other pup, which still remained silent.
‘like fire?’ she thought to herself. She didn’t think much of it. She thought it was a little weird that the female pup would smell like fire though. Perhaps her home was burned down? She wasn’t sure. There were so many possibilities’, and there was no point in trying to figure it out now. “Yes, go now pup, run to your mother, or stay close to me. Dangers lurk within the area.” Of course, Annika had no idea, that puppy Kasia, actually in fact was not a pup and was planning on trying to kill her. Nor did she realize that the Gods were so close to her, planning something to do wit her. Perhaps in the future she will look back and realize all the simple mistakes she had made.

KasiaThe flame that will never go out This is great. She actually believes me. How foolish for her to believe everything she sees in a time like this. She thought to herself. How protective the fae seemed. How mangeld she will become. Kasia thought quickly. What animal will be most devistating... she questioned. She searched through her mind for a menacing animal that would scare even the toughtest of wolves. Then she thought of it. It'd scare most wolves because 1. it's huge. 2. It's very unlikely that anyone will have ever seen it before, and 3. It's totally badass.
She looked up at Annika. "Yes, go now pup, run to your mother, or stay close to me. Dangers lurk within the area." Ha. You have no idea... Kasia thought. "But, I don't have a mom. I don't have a papa either." She said in the most helpless of tones. Her pout turned to a glare. "I don't even have a fear of these dangers." She said, her body slowly starting to change. She became her standard self, her true form. Then she grew. She grew and grew, her head becoming rounder, her feet becoming flatter, her teeth growing; her eyes just as terrifying as ever. "For you see, I am the danger that's lurking within the area. And you bet I'm going to stay close to you." She said, now in the form of a full grown hippapotamus, with the small Annika on her back.
Kasia let out an eruption of noise in the hippo's equivilance to a wolf's howl. She stomped her feet and hunched her back; she shot her back up into the air, hoping to launch Annika as well. She ran to the expected landing spot and prepared to kick the delicate Yuurie Dao right in the ribs. Try healing this. She thought and yelled again. This is going to be the best fight ever. *Chihiro~Everyone Pleased? Chihiro dashed to the alphess, who looked like she was in danger. "Are you alright?!" She asked. What kind of stupid question is that? No she's not alright! She told herself. She looked at Skyla's wounds. That male must have been set on doing some damage. "Don't worry, it will be alright. My sister can--" She stopped. As she was apeaking, she looked at her sister, so she could point out who she was. But when she looked at her, the small pup was changing. It was no longer a small pup; it was a fully grown wolf. Then she kept changing. Soon it was a massive pinkish thing with Annika on her back. Chihiro's eyes were wide. What the hell is that?! She asked herself. She was in complete shock. creature was like nothing she has ever seen before.
She cringed when it made that noise. It was so loud. But cringing brought her back to reality. That was her sister. She couldn't just do nothing! "ANNIKA!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as the hippo tried to throw her sister. She panicked, and did the first thing that came to mind.
"Zolsaos, help me! My sister is in terrible danger." She thought, attempting to contact her mentor. "Chihiro? What's the matter? You know I can't do anything from here." "I understand, but can't you tell me what to do? She could die!" "Chihiro... I can't. I'm so so sorry." It took all Chihiro had not to scream. That was her sister! She hadn't seen her sister in centuries, and the day she comes back... would that be the day she dies? No! She wouldn't let it happen! But what could she do? TescinBee more like a wolf Tescin watched in disarray as the chaos surrounded him. He watched as Skyla was beaten, he watched helpless wolves get attacked. He was a coward. He looked to the right and left, looked for someone he could possibly help. He heard an incredibly loud noise. He looked to the source and saw a behemoth of an animal. "What the--?!" He exclaimed. He wasn't cut out for this. It was too much for him. He thought he could be brave, but he just couldn't.
Just as he was about to run like the coward he was, he was knocked down. A female wolf was attacking him. He freaked out, and stung her with his stinger, his very weak attack. He squirmed, unable to know who it was or what was really going on. He barked, confused and scared. Who was attacking him? He stopped moving and thought; terrible timing, but still. He didn't want to die in vain. This wasn't his day to die. He barked, this time with more purpose, and grew in size. He wasn't going to die without a fight. Not this time. He would be remembered.

Etta All dreams are a reality;;
Etta smiled for the first time in a long time at the older female standing over her. She had never met anyone so very kind in her whole life excepting her mother and father. She was about to say something to Annika when the younger pup began speaking. "But, I don't have a mom. I don't have a papa either." She looked down at the puppy, wondering why her mother and father had left her at such a young age... or been killed. It occured to her that everyone had their own story to tell, and all of them were different and horrifying in their very own way. "I don't even have a fear of these dangers." But how could she not? Was the puppy completely unaware of the dangers and death that war represented? Then she began to grow, and Etta took a step back involuntarily. She stared incredulously as the female grew into a larger wolf with crackling wings of flame that sizzled and hissed but did not dim in the heavy pour of the rain. That was the moment she realized why the smells had brought back so many memories. Had they been duped so easily? Did it only take the mask of innocence to disguise the horrors of something much worse?
"For you see, I am the danger that's lurking within the area. And you bet I'm going to stay close to you." The female's words reminded Etta of something that a flea or a tick would say rather than something an actual wolf would say. Etta slowly backed away, trembling in a puppyish way that was beginning to bother her. Why couldn't she be more like a grown up? They all seemed very brave and didn't cower the way she was. Annika certainly wasn't afraid. Etta watched in horror as the wolf grew into a strange purply-black skinned creature(with no fur!) that had big, powerful jaws and short stubby legs. She watched as it stomped, spraying water from puddles everywhere and trying to shake Annika off. Whatever the creature was, it certainly didn't look like something you casually strolled by without getting hurt.
Etta just managed to stop herself before she began to whimper and whine. This was no time to be a puppy! She had to think like an adult. No, she had to be an adult! She had to be brave like her momma was... and like her papa was. She had to be brave like the female she had seen getting attacked and brave like the male who looked like a big bee and was being attacked. She couldn't just stand there, she had to do something to help even if it wasn't much. Before Etta knew what was happening, the trembling had stopped all together and she stood tall and straight. It was like she had no control over what she was doing, but in a strange way she did. Her hind legs tensed and she shot off, slipping and sliding over the mud and gravel until she was close enough to look at the creature without getting hurt. Fur bristled on her back, lips pulled back over her teeth, and her jaw slackened. So much for thinking like an adult. Instead, she launched herself at the creature's side furiously, not realizing just how seriously hurt she could to get.
