Hello, I'm new, and my twin isn't on (Essy). Since I don't know when she will be, I thought I'd make a box of questions. If someone would be so kind as to help me out I'd appreciate it.
First, about the higher ranks, do the characters have to earn those through role playing? Or members have to be here a certain amount of time or? I'm not interested in making my my characters alpha's or anything, but I do want to play a scout. Just curious as to whether or not that's possible for me as a new person.
Second, if having a higher rank isn't possible, what about Theta? And how old would you say a typical theta should be?
I get the feeling these questions are pretty lame, but... You know, looking stupid now is better than looking stupid later o.o

I'll be happy to answer your questions :3
Higher ranks must be earned by both the person and the character. There are not too many high ranks now, but I may add more in the future, giving more people a chance to have a higher-level wolf.
Yes, your wolf can be a Theta, and I would say any probably older then 2 years old would be good <3
and no, no questions are lame xD I like answering questions, ha ha aha

Ooooh, thank you =)
Okay, kewl, that makes sense. So, how do you get higher ranking characters? Like, do you have to have that rank as a person before you can have than rank as a character, or is based on activity and that sort of thing?

Higher ranking characters, you ask. Twin? Well, considering I had to take the arduous journey myself without any sort of help(and many numerous misadventures at that), I shall bestow some knowledge upon you before you loose yourself in confusion. First, and utmost foremost, you must be sure that you had thoroughly read every character and rule post on this board. Yes, tedious as it may sound, but, I promise you, it will all pay off in the end. After you have completed this first task, which I shall tell you is by far the easiest of them all, the second begins. Look over your own pages for the pup you plan to play and read it CAREFULLY. I am aware that you are the one who typed it out in the first place, but it's this fact in itself that will aide you in your journey. After thoroughly reading over his/her history, appearance, and personality, make your way to the local costume shop. There, purchase a full body fur suit and customize it to fit your pups needs. Does it have wings? Four tails? A missing nose? Feel the utmost need to place any bit of detail you possibly can before continuing to the next step. Because, you know, if you don't, the whole journey just won't feel as self fulfilling. Trust me, I should know. From here on out, for the span of six months, you are on your own in the wilderness of any forest of wolf-environment-sanctuary that you choose. Be your pup. Experience their life and return with knowledge that you have never held before. I await your return and am thrilled to experience what you have to present, happy living and loving!
Or, if you want to be intelligent, completely ignore me and await Susan to reply to you.

Ah sorry.
No, you don't have to be a high ranking person to have a high ranking wolf. The best thing you can do is be active :3 and your wolf can be involved with the pack. Get to know the Alphess and other pack members doing whatever they can do to help out or what not. ;3

Okay, here's a few.
First, would you happen to know how high is the average wolf? I can only find weights.
Second, does a last name serve a wolf and purpose in this world?
Third, a wolf family/ pack/ thing with the ability to turn human like wouldn't really serve any purpose in this world either, would it? Just a random thought is all.
Fourth.... What sort of history haven't you heard from characters here yet? 'cause from what I saw a lot, not all, but some, seem..... Almost identical with the basicics just applied to a differant character (I think half of them I saw were by people not here, buuuuuuttttt....) Just wondering, I don't like being a conformist.

1. the average height for a wolf is between 2 and 2.5 feet at the shoulder. so all together no more then 3 feet tall. Of course wolves can be taller here.
2. no, your wolf can or does not have to have a last name. They surve no real purpose, but it's a nice touch
3. humans that turn into wolves /can/ be here, but they cannot be part of the pack. but they can be loners.
4. I'm not really sure. I try to make my pasts unique, sometimes though my pasts are something I've actually roleplayed before (some of these characters I've had for years xD) so it's really up to you. There are things that do seem clique and others that don't. sorry can't be much help here.

1. Thanks ^^
2. Alrighty, that saves me a bit of thinking.
3. Not /humans/ who turn into wolves, /wolves/ who turn into humans.
4. Perfectly alright, just wondering if you had any dislikes and such. o.o

Hmm..wolves that can turn into humans..well then I suppose they could join the pack so long as they were born a wolf
Not really. I love flaws <3 but sometimes TOO much flaws can be icky xD

O= Yes, humans who turn into wolves are over rated, but wolves who turn into humans? That would be awesome. Not sure how they'd work out in Nozomi, but it's a kewl thought.
I havent played wolves in a looong time, I'm gonna have to think about a history and family.
